I know it's not the same but recently my grandmother passed away, i feel... i handled it the same as sheldon, i just ran alternate scenarios through my head trying to make a good goodbye for the last time i saw her, in the end it was hard to think of a satisfying one as she had Alzheimer's and didn't remember who i was last i saw her, she thought i was there to rob her, when she finally passed my family would yell at me for getting lost in thought trying to play a good scenario in my mind, i couldn't rightly explain it to them, they were grieving as well, sadly sometimes when im off work i still try and play a good scenario but it honestly just makes me sadder.
