Nice video of the ex-CSX and ex-CN engines as long with other engines and freight cars.I am originally from Quakertown and eventually Hatfield and Lansdale so i' ve seen this rail line change hands from Reading to Conrail then to N/S then to the short lines. It's nice seeing these videos of the rail line from Lansdale to above Telford.
6:40 Oop there's me. Definitely had a great chase hitting almost the same spots you did with a friend of mine. CSX took almost forever to get it to Woodbourne for C746 to pickup but at least now 4621 is now at her new home in Quakertown.
Correct! This was the Reading's mainline between Philadelphia and Bethlehem. It was transferred to SEPTA when the Reading was absorbed into Conrail, and passenger service ended when SEPTA ended all non-electrified service in the early 1980s. SEPTA continues to own the line to this day and leases segments to the Pennsylvania Northeastern and East Penn railway. The last few miles between Quakertown and Bethlehem are now a rails to trails, however SEPTA retains the right to return service at any time (which would require major upgrades now)
Are you for CSX or Conrail as Pennsylvania North eastern come to Conrail north eastern quality railroad under a merger as Conrail north eastern quality railroad so we stay alive as a rail company under a Mutual merger of rail an a LLC of Conrail north eastern quality railroad shares at 87 a share an operate under your flag ship as Pennsylvania north eastern as an LLC of Conrail north eastern quality railroad were just linking as an LLC I'm not to absorb you as Pennsylvania north eastern if you come as an LLC to Conrail north eastern quality railroad
