Comparing this to the other ships in scale, it seems sort of crazy that the Republic sent a massive consular ship, which seems like in the movie is just carrying by 2 pilots and 2 passengers.
@@_Chelli_ The 150m-long CR90 from the start of A New Hope apparently carries up to 600 passengers as well as crew, but it's only 35m longer than the Consular-class. A Boeing 777 is just over half the length of a CR90 and carries 312+ passengers, so that scales fairly well. However an USN Arleigh-Burke destroyer is 150m long and has 300 crew. The official cross-section of the Consular-class does kinda explain it - a lot of the room is taken up with luxuries and large meeting rooms. But the internal scaling and specifications of ships in Star Wars makes no sense sometimes.
@@redbloodcell4047I think the people writing those lore books and visual dictionaries aren't always communicating with the designers who created the ships, so they might get some numbers wrong (or make up something if they can't derive an estimate).
Minifigure scale is my absolute favourite but man these micro scale builds are so awesome, fukusaku is so talented! Would love a minifigure scale gozanti cruiser too😂
Always wanted tlg to remake this ship! This is a fantastic rendition, I love the folding landing gear. As for suggestions, I’m praying for a playscale Mandalorian gauntlet!
I DO have a question though in regards to the lore accuracy of these two vessels. Because the original ship in Phantom Menace is about 115 m. while the retrofit is 138.55 m. I am curious if this was taken into account when the designer made these, one would assume so, considering their attention to detail, but I can't be sure.
I think this design is amazing, I’d love to see a combination of the refit and the consular class like in clone wars “Crisis at heart” where it’s the consular class red but has all the armaments of the refit.
Awr dang I really love how sleek and well thought out these designs are, especially with the SNOT technique. I had the 7665 Republic Cruiser (Radiant VII) set as a kid and loved it. Only things I wish were different were: 1. The landing gear configuration being 4 legs spreading port/starboard instead of the tricycle layout shown here. (Though the durable retractability and sleek look while folded up are impressive) and 2. The vibrant red color being more of a maroon like the accents on the later Clone Wars combat variant. (Though I know parts color availability is always a struggle for custom sets). Other than those small nitpicks though these are both amazing looking and I really appreciate the commitment to scale with existing micro sets.
this looking super cool I love it, the proportions are great, very acurate looking model. Just landing gear could be at least same 4 legs configuration like in the movie, but I guess it can be easily modified.
Honestly and this is my opinion no one has to agree with me yes folding landing gear is awesome like actually really cool but if you have to sacrifice accuracy for stability then just go ahead and make it a part you have to attach and detach
Wish you would provide a parts list for a dark red version! It looks like normal red is also used for internal structure do would be wasting pieces just doing a colour swap
So, I tried to work out a scale model of this ship to the new UCS Venator’s 43" length, and I came up with around 5.5"… do you how big a "micro scale" Venator would be? Fantastic build btw, love the military version!
It came form the Original concept art for the Millennium Falcon by Ralph McQuarrie. love that ship. not because on episode 1 LOL 🤮 It looked great as a warship in Clone Wars.

According to Wookieepedia it normally has a crew of 8 people and can carry 16 passengers, which still seems really small for a ship its size.

It was symbolic, not necessarily crew focused desicion to send it
it's like politicians taking gigantic jet planes for private flights, i guess it goes to show how wasteful and decadent the republic was
This is a stunning build that is going to add lots of color to a Star Wars diorama
Minifigure scale is my absolute favourite but man these micro scale builds are so awesome, fukusaku is so talented!

Glad to see y'all back! Great model once again!

Fuku Saku is one of my favorite designers. Got some great stuff!

Lookin’ good! Both Jack and the model.

Definitely a great looking model. And as for my recommendation, I would like to see a Supermarine Spitfire lineup.
Another amazing video
Seeing this big ship classified as micro scale, shows how big it really is in universe
"I've been looking forward to this"
Awesome build I love it it’s one of my favorite ships but my only pet peeve is that the landing gear is inaccurate
you are right, unfortunately there was no way to make folding gear like it should look like
Honestly and this is my opinion no one has to agree with me yes folding landing gear is awesome like actually really cool but if you have to sacrifice accuracy for stability then just go ahead and make it a part you have to attach and detach
I wish you went back to making the every mini fig videos those were my childhood
I think Ashoka’s T-6 shuttle in minifig scale would be amazing!!!!
Can we get a Fukusaku TIE Interceptor review? Some very interesting building techniques on that one.
Very nice design, i like it. But normal red seems of, it should be dark red. I guess there are not enough dark red pieces available.
Bee Movie Script
According to all known laws
of aviation,
there is no way a bee
should be able to fly.
Its wings are too small to get
its fat little body off the ground.
The bee, of course, flies anyway
because bees don't care
what humans think is impossible.
Yellow, black. Yellow, black.
Yellow, black. Yellow, black.
Ooh, black and yellow!
Let's shake it up a little.
Barry! Breakfast is ready!
Ooming!
Hang on a second.
Hello?
- Barry?
- Adam?
- Oan you believe this is happening?
- I can't. I'll pick you up.
Looking sharp.
Use the stairs. Your father
paid good money for those.
Sorry. I'm excited.
Here's the graduate.
We're very proud of you, son.
A perfect report card, all B's.
Very proud.
Ma! I got a thing going here.
- You got lint on your fuzz.
- Ow! That's me!
- Wave to us! We'll be in row 118,000.
- Bye!
Barry, I told you,
stop flying in the house!
- Hey, Adam.
- Hey, Barry.
- Is that fuzz gel?
- A little. Special day, graduation.
Never thought I'd make it.
Three days grade school,
three days high school.
Those were awkward.
Three days college. I'm glad I took
a day and hitchhiked around the hive.
You did come back different.
- Hi, Barry.
- Artie, growing a mustache? Looks good.
- Hear about Frankie?
- Yeah.
- You going to the funeral?
- No, I'm not going.
Everybody knows,
sting someone, you die.
Don't waste it on a squirrel.
Such a hothead.
I guess he could have
just gotten out of the way.
I love this incorporating
an amusement park into our day.
That's why we don't need vacations.
Boy, quite a bit of pomp...
under the circumstances.
- Well, Adam, today we are men.
- We are!
- Bee-men.
- Amen!
Hallelujah!
Students, faculty, distinguished bees,
please welcome Dean Buzzwell.
Welcome, New Hive Oity
graduating class of...
...9:15.
That concludes our ceremonies.
And begins your career
at Honex Industries!
Will we pick ourjob today?
I heard it's just orientation.
Heads up! Here we go.
You should make a minifigure scale tantiv IV
definitely a model i will be getting in the future and the charger-c70 version as well
Wish you would provide a parts list for a dark red version! It looks like normal red is also used for internal structure do would be wasting pieces just doing a colour swap
I'd love it if you guys would do a fury-class interceptor from SWTOR, or any of the main faction ships.
i'd honestly love to see a micro scale space master medium freighter, and whether or not the front of it is the same size as an YT-1300
Will you ever make a stinger mantis build because as a diehard Jedi: Fallen Order fan, I would love to see one
Could be really really nice to have a Nanoscale Acclamator class at the same time that an Arquitens class (in Republic livery)
Nice job
So, I tried to work out a scale model of this ship to the new UCS Venator’s 43" length, and I came up with around 5.5"… do you how big a "micro scale" Venator would be? Fantastic build btw, love the military version!
