Remember, when Taemin says he debuted at 16, he's using Korean age. The way we count he was still a couple months away from turning 15! His training began at age eleven in 2005. Staying this humble and kind while surviving child stardom is only one reason he's a role model for young idols. He's been through A LOT. "He gets through it all with grace" WELL SAID! And as we speak Taemin is still getting through more hell with grace. This time his pain comes not from inside but outside. Long story short: he strike back at the oppressive system he silently endured for 15 years, through hyper specific subversive messaging in his Guilty MV (see the professionally-edited video Taemin Guilty MV Explained). Of course the power that be noted Taemin's disobedience and tear his Guilty song away, to keep him down and leech him dry. He is in pain right now but acting strong and gracious, as he does.

SHINee's quiet pain is far from over. If the "owners" could keep Taemin down, they could keep anyone down. And that, is their message.
Taemin was only 14 when he debuted (almost 15) the translations say 16 because they were using the korean age system. That's how insane it is that him and Yoongi are the same age because Taemin debuted in 2008, then debuted as a soloist in 2014. BTS debuted in 2013 so you can see why that's so shocking to Suga and Jimin.
Taemin is so adorable. I wish you could react to his introduction/funny videos. I surely never saw any other idol like Taemin (man he got me on my knees). His brilliant mind, the facets of his work, the profundity of the persona Taemin...is unmatched, untouchable and haunting at the same time and equal intensity.

When Taemin was promoting Guilty, there was a really sweet MV with members from several 5th Gen groups who are hard Taemin stans: Fuma/&Team, Sungho/BoyNextDoor, Yujin/ZeroBase1, Hyeongseop/Tempest. Taemin was "in" on the content; when the juniors found out they were texting with Taemin, they were shocked, fell over and almost cried. They did his Guilty Challenge together and he told them how grateful he was to them.
Taemin inspires younger idols because he is a fighter. Taemin painted a story of a captive bird taking flight out of a repressive, violent child-exploiting institution. The song is his vehicle of soul in his new chapter. So why did SM sell Taemin's young baby to fatten HYBE's bank account? Just when Taemin is about to take flight after 3 years? WHY?
Keeping it real... Latest Kpop social media hot topic: Kpop controllers appropriating his song GUILTY, Taemin's 2-month-old baby, to boost a HYBE golden boy. Even non-fans are shocked, wondered out loud on social media, asking why, why SM sold out their top concert seller flagship Taemin to their big rival just when Taemin is finally exploding into global consciousness, WHY?
This isn't just a cold calculated corporate hijacking of Taemin's soul work. This is Kpop power masters' SHOWY PUBLIC WHIPPING of a rebel rouser in front of millions of Kpop audience.
It's no secret Taemin's 2023 title song Guilty MV has a darker layer hidden underneath its viral sexy choreo, and with convoluted editing, he somehow sneaked it pass SM corporate floors. He had the audacity to hint at Kpop child abuse institutions! So top child exploiters openly whipped him in hyper specific manners: grabbed his anti-child-abuse song, got young idols to heighten the sexualized parts for viral benefits, made a BIG show of erasing Taemin's name from that HYBE boy's cover performance video title on Ytube Ttok Twter… There's no mistaking the anomaly and the brutality of it. Kpop collectives felt the OUCH and started multiple Taemin Guilty threads on multiple platform!
Talk about BIG LOUD STATEMENT: "Shut up Taemin, we own SM, we own you, we own the kids, we own your songs, your soul, and we can erase you faster than CCP erases rebel celebs, watch us vampire your most beloved song and bleed your heart dry, then we own your tears too."
Talk about the devils flexing at a child-slave-turned-advocate.
Talk about teaching younger idols a lesson, thru the SHOWY BULLYING of their most respected idol of idols.
This is not a conspiracy theory. This is corporate bullies flaunting their power IN PLAIN SIGHT. This is Kpop Masters stepping on the face of Taemin, IN PLAIN VIEW.

The sadism of bleeding Taemin's heart while disappearing him, is so LOUD, that every idol is silent about it.
The bullying is plain to see, because powerful masters want EVERY IDOL TO SEE: even Lee Taemin can be bled then erased. Every. Younger. Idol. 3rd gen idols included. They all need to witness the public whipping of "guilty bad example" Taemin.

Yes Taemin is smiling, being gracious to the ungracious as always. He seems stronger than ever. But the powerful masters are 999999 times more powerful, and they have a history of using abusing vampiring idols to an early demise, and still sleep at night. They will profit regardless.

You can see how much Taemin loves Jimin. And it went from being a friendly professional conversation. To Taemin seeing Jimin and Yoongi bickering and loving every minute of it. I know Jimin says he wants to stay out of Suga and Taemin friendship but honestly the 3 of them are good together. Did anyone else notice that Jimin cuteness turn up to 1000% in this episode. One of the likely reasons why they didn't eat anything when Taemin was on Suchwita is that the show was probably filmed after 11 a.m. Taemin only eats one meal a day. He wakes up early to eat a big breakfast, but after 11 a.m. he stops eating and he won't eat a meal again until the next morning. (He particularly adheires to this strict diet during promotions or when he has a big performance or any time he will be on TV or film, etc.) It's all part of his self-imposed diet plan. He says he can't perform with a full stomach because it makes him feel too heavy and he feels like he can't execute the moves to their fullest. This is something Taemin has been doing for years to maintain his weight and keep performing at the level that he does.
Wow I didn't know he's so strict like that! People are so mean to say he promotes unhealthy diet when he's just being professional. It's not like his life style is normal???
Shinee's song Hard has the round piano and a second piano that has blue paint or fluid flowing of it. Not Taemin's song Advice. Advice has a lot of walls with lighter blue walls that seems to be a lighter version of the blue used in Hard by Shinee.

Thank you for your reaction, Roscoe! Same here, I was going "why are they not eating?". Anyway, great episode with Taemin, I can't get over how sweet his face is. Shinee has always been impressive and of course Taemin has been voted the best dancer in K-pop. That collaboration with Jimin is legendary, they have similar dancing styles and both outstandingly good. Both Yoongi and Taemin became more relaxed and informal as soon as Jimin came in, our Mochi has that effect on most people. I remember Hobi in the Jack in the Box doco saying that he was able to eat and sleep better when Jimin went to Lolla. Must be a maknae thing - in their group appearances you can see the Shinee members giving off that protective vibe towards Taemin.
I actually think the piano scene he was thinking of was from Hard, not advice.
Cuteness overload ☺️Taemin and Jimin have been good friends for a while , since Jimin joined the Padding Squad. It was so cute to watch them all interact - it was hard to believe that Suga just met Taemin to have a conversation but when Jimin arrived and shook things up they became more relaxed. Suga and Taemin were both watching Jimin and he turned his cuteness level to above and beyond (little flirt - praise kink). This was absolutely lovely 🎉

❣️Jimin & Taemin from the group SHINee, have been quite close friends since at least 2016, though all of SHINee noticed Jimin first at MAMA awards 2014, when watching him do that spectacular Taekwondo flip then ripping off his shirt while doing battle BTS vs Block B. Then afterwards recalling that while watching Jimin again when he had yet another spectacular most memorable “Perfect Man” performance! Jimin is even part of a quite close group of 6 other idols, started by Taemin, from other groups called the Padding Squad, which consists of other main dancers Taemin & Kai, but also Sungwoon, another of Jimin's closest friends. They even have matching jackets each with the emblem consisting of ea members hand print made into a circle, on a 'padding jacket. Jimin has always admired Taemin, who has been around for longer time. But Taemin has also always admired Jimin’s amazing quality & abilities as well, especially in dancing, especially since Taemin didn’t come from a background growing up, like Jimin did, of not only dance, in so many different styles! Jimin, since age 10, studying & performing hip hop, winning every competition in street dancing. Then studying & performing contemporary & modern dance, but also taking ballet & traditional Korean dance classes as well! Jimin even has managed to incorporate his 8 yrs training in various forms of martial arts including Taekwondo (blackbelt), into his dancing.
