On one hand, these traditions and formalities are absolutely incredible to watch.. Being able to watch things like this makes you realize how big this world really is. I am watching from my phone at home in Boston. It really is amazing to think that these kind of things are still happening today, it's just an ocean away but you would think it was a million miles away to see how different their world is compared to mine and the people around me ( granted myself nor anyone around me is any kind of royal in any way lol) On the other hand, this has to be beyond exhausting. Having to deal with such a difficult loss and then having to travel and perform so many ceremonies and duties and traditions. You can see it on his face. I know it's tradition and it's a great honor to honor his mother the way he is but wow that's a lot.

The RF must be exhausted attending all these formal presentations that honor the passing of HMTQ. However, how special it is for each and every one in uniform to be present & to represent the history, ceremony & high standards of the UK military. As an American, I do not know who the civil representatives are that display symbols of office, but they are also serving respectfully at this time of national grief at the loss of their nations' "grandmother".
Just because we are in 2022 doesn’t mean we should scrap military and royal ceremonial stuff. It’s our history and culture and we must always keep it. Plus it looks good

My heart breaks for all the Queen’s family and people. Not British but I adored your Queen, she was feisty! My own mother was 91 when she passed. She was feisty too. It is nothing compared to military drills physically and mentally they do on daily basis with only 5 hours of sleep.
