Michael, bless you! Between your pro experience and those radar ears, we are all super privileged to have you here... I must say: nearly every plugin that I use was purchased after watching you put it through its paces. Hey kids, this is the real school of rock, right here :)
Really helpful Michael - another fabulous video. Really love your approach and how you explain why you're making certain moves. Cheers. (and best wishes for the holidays)
This is amazing Mike! I was hoping you could clarify something for me: how exactly does the parallel compression and distortion manage the sibilance issues from the original track? Is it a mask? At a conceptual level I suppose I'm struggling to figure out keeping one track with sibilance issues is resolved by adding a quieter duplicate beside it. Thank you!!

FYI Mike, Nembrini makes a VST/AAX of the SansAmp PSA2... believe it's called the PSA1000. It's pretty new. Does the trick.
I have it and use it all the time. I often prefer it over the Avid version.
Thank you so much for your videos!!
Cheers!
I like that!!
Do I send my lead vocal to parellel after I process it, or before?

Hey Mike, same approach for piano? I’m interested in that deep thick, but natural piano vibe you think of ...John Legend - All of me or Adeles Hello.
Any other saturator plugins besides the sansamp that would work?
I love your videos Mike, tau you,, evergy thing great
Cheers!
