@jimmydelacruz7052 50$ for one can or 30$ for two cans. Any cans after two I do for 15$ (I live in a big farming place, so the trash bins are all super caked in poop and hard stuff to get off haha and they all have at least one can they use for the farm. And that one can usually takes a good bit longer, so that's why I do 50$ for one or 60$ for two.

@@dkdavy9957 im in the bay area so definitly not the country side. I feel like ther'd be not as much demand since there isnt much farm poop But it does have more trash bins. How would it compare to your area? Cuz its like more of a diff demand but much less of your kind of demand
We're based in Chicago Illinois and here because of the lake fresh clean water has never and will never be an issue. I've never had a client even look twice at us using their water. Everyone does here but I can imagine in a state like Nevada you might be expected to bring your own water.
You can skip all of the harmful chemicals. I do. I use Hypochlorous acid. I'd recommend 200ppm (0.02%). As for pressure washers, I'm thinking of buying the battery one by EGO.
HEY MATHEW! i started my trash can cleaning business (Waste Wizards) because of you! thank you so much for the inspiration! i had a person from the swim community in my neighborhood (we have 3 community pools) reach out, and ask me if i could clean the cans for the pools! ($3,500 job). again, thank you. i plan to scale and get a vehicle next year when i get my drivers license!
FACEBOOK!! Love the content! You have inspired me to go start my own! your videos have absolutely gotten me the certainty and information i needed to run a successful can cleaning business! I can't imagine how much sauce an in-depth course would provide!
get you some thin coveralls for summer and heavy ones for winter. You can get them waterproof as well. You can get as dirty as you want and before you get back in your car just take off the coveralls.
I really appreciate you filming these videos. What do you use to remove scuff marks on the cans? Since I live in Los Angeles, water is expensive. What do I tell a new customer when they don't want me to use their water hook-up? I'm starting out with a Honda Civic.
I have a question about laws & regulations…? I have seen some folks say you can get fines & major trouble with this type of business…? Any sights on that side of things ?
That can be upwards of $8000 per incident if caught. Waste water from cleaning trash cans is liquid solid waste, which is the same as sewer waste. Check local laws and regulations.
@@BobbyCannon-p7b I appreciate the insight. I follow up question would be how come so many guys are washing can this way then ? I mean I see a lot of them… & the fact they are making videos, if it was such a crime you’re recording yourself in the act ? I do believe you , I am just curious why…
@jamesfoster8077 One day it will catch up with them. Depends on when EPA or City/County Health Inspector sees this being done. Technically, a homeowner washing their cans in the yard could be cited for illegal discharge of waste products. All kinds of nasty stuff can be found inside trash bins.
Not good! The water that comes out of those cans are essentially leachate. Landfills have to dispose of that at a wastewater facility. Bin cleaning guys take the water with them and dispose of accordingly. EPA loves this stuff.
Yeah no way anyone here would pay $25 fo ra can cleaning you'd be hard pressed to get $10 and then use their water?...Must be in a high coast area of town

Do you connect to homeowners power, if so could you make a vid on how you ask them? Thanks, all the best
Do you use the owners water connection system or do you have your own water tank?
Owners water
Are there any city sanitation laws we should research before starting?
None that i have been penalized for but good to know the rules
Why would you use tongs instead of a broom and standing dustpan?
So what chemicals are you using for the bins
Do you hook ur hose up to their house?
Guessing this is a summer only biz. What about snow days or is that not a issue.
How often do you clean cans for your clients?

But where do you throw the residual ?
Throw it back in the trash
What if they dont have that Thing with the water

You kind of talked a little too fast saying the brand of the pressure washer that you are using. And also, are you using your car?
Electric ryobi 1900 psi
.75 speed is soooo much better

What is the pricing?
$25 per trash can but how many times per month do you wash that one trash can?
You said you would mention how much you made after 60 days and it was never revealed…
Customers who cause a fuss, will be continuing there search for service. Period...
I don’t see it, the garbage water hitting the street I could see a lot of mad customers.
It’s not about them though
I would suggest not in the driveway lol
No I do not have to watch to the end to hear the number. I can just go straight there. Duh.
