I remember the first iteration of this mod ran really well in the amercias only downside was saving would crash the mod at the time so if ya had the time to do a game in one go it was a blast real smoove no crashes in battles, granted it didnt have custom maps yet but i had a battle where stonewall went against two armies and i got a hill and with the woods and the snow it was one of the most memorable total war battles i had modded and unmodded.
@@libeloussmith7656 I see, tbh my knowledge of the US Civil War is quite limit other than the basics. It's interesting though how the quality of the generals varied a lot depending on the front.
With the CSA there was a form of Darwinism, if your general ship was competent or excellent you would stay with the Virginia army. Competent or didn't get along with Lee off to the Army of Tennessee. Couldn't cut it with AoT it's off to the Transmississippi or as it was called Kirby Smithdom. For the CO of the Department. That's a gross over simplification but it'll do for TH-cam on a Friday night. I'm somewhere over 200 turns in Boers world conquest...

is the shadowmoon valley music part of the mod???
Hehe no, I use custom music tracks that I add during editing. I also edit out most of the loading screens and adjust my mic volume
YEE YEE, GET EM BAW
I've been told the Americas is a minefield for saves, good luck with this one..
yeah I tried recording it before and it crashed during a siege battle. I'll have to be very careful, thanks!
Raphael Seemed is weeping....
who?
Semmes (if I am spelling that right) was a Confederate commerce raider, who commanded the Naval Brigade of the CSA on Lee's march to Appomattox.

Very edgy choice. Nice pre programmed response.
