Covers are not, 100%. Depending on its use it could be declared fair use if they only sang a bit, but as a lawyer described, fair use is a shield not a sword. NOTHING is INHERENTLY fair use, the only way something can be declared fair use is if someone goes after it, it goes to court, and the jury declares it fair use, other than that things that could be covered by fair use are in a gray area, AH is trying to avoid all that trouble
Yes and no, some companies don't allow them and you need a special third party contract to actually use it. Even thought you can DMCA for almost no reason. There is a dude who uploaded a static screen like old TVs one and he got 10 DMCA... 😢
To add on to what commenters have said, TH-cams algorithm also doesnt really care anymore. Any bit of music gets picked up now and automatically gets flagged. Getting that fixed now is a bigger hassle than its worth i believe so AH is probably just taking the financially sound route and avoiding it all together.
I don't know why but i find all of the editing hilarious because there actually is a small possibility that the video would've been copyrighted if certain music was sung.

It basically boils down to what geoff said..roosterteeth is becoming nothing more than a bunch of cowards..i have NEVER seen a lets play get copyrighted or taken down due to them singing and they do it constantly..its seems like ever since patrick left or whatever happened to him and this eric guy took over everything changed..personally i want patrick back he didnt interrupt the podcasts to try to get on camera EVERY single week and EVERY boradcast show thats shown.

its not necessarily that honestly..i just don't understand why everything's changed since erick joined..i dont watch/listen to the podcast to hear him constantly interupt hes an off screen employee..just because he cant accept that doesn't mean the content im watching should be constantly interrupted ..theres a reason im a RT fan and not a mega64 fan
I definitely think they went a little overkill on the censoring BUTTTT I can only assume that there must be a genuine reason why they've gone so overkill on it, like maybe they or other channels have been unfairly striked/videos claimed recently for no reason so their response is to be incredibly overly cautious about it.
Hardcore Tabletop is such a great show. I've never been so eager for a new episode of something from AH in a while.

That is a snazzy jacket/coat that Jeremy is wearing it looks really good on him.
In order of easiest to hardest for SLASO: Floodgate (you can complete this mission without fighting), Halo (again, plenty of skips and the Infinite Spartan Laser glitch), Cortana (an annoying level but this one can be speedrun); Tsavo Highway and the Storm similar difficulty (I'd say Tsavo Highway is easier because there's more you can skip), then Sierra 117 followed by Covenant, Crow's Nest, and the biggest pain in the Ark.
Took one look at who was at the table and was like "this one is gonna be good" the 5 of them are my favorites
