Thank god i have forgotten how much it hurts to love a man like this. Thank god for wisdom and maturity, but i can’t lie at 38 i miss fallen crazy in love like this.
I fuck with this, wasn’t a fan of Joe, just didn’t pay much attention besides “pump it up.” He was made for the realm he’s in now. Without music we may have never gotten to the point of the Joe Budden TV and everything that comes with that brand. Love his deep therapeutic interviews he has with his guest. His view point on things crazy as it may come off is very much needed. Much respect for Joe now and I hope he knows hip hop needs someone like him not sure he realizes that.
One of the main reasons I fuqz with Joe is because of songs like this. His lyrics apply to the average everyday person going through average everyday struggles. If you can't relate to the topic directly, your situation is more than likely some sort of variation of it. You have to repect the honesty of an artist that shares his personal life with the public.
+William Boyce for real tho I listened to joe a bit back years ago to bump it up to fire then got more more deeper to his music now I just vibe out to his music some real shit hes on 50 can go jump off a cliff
I agree with You Bennie W. Pharr IV . I gotta admit I was late on getting into Jump off Joe Beezy's music, but its cool cuz it let me go back into his earlier work and hear the progression of a great m.c. This album had enough good tracks to make me purchase it. Ain't everyday that someone shares from real life shit, like Em did to get that attention. So anyways... While this is a great album, I think my favorite solo Joe track so far gotta be "Runaway"
+Ricardo Jimenez "50 can go jump off a cliff"??? Seriously? Have you even heard his more recent shiz? It goes just as hard as his early shiz! I'll admit I gave up on 50 for a while when ... I think it was Curtis, & Before I self destruct were put out, but he's dropped some of his best shit lately, be it while the unit, or that SK album, to his newest single in 9 Shots. Just my 2¢.
I feel people always judge him by his older stuff like pump it up. but his newer stuff is deep and it's shit you can relate to in life. You don't have to go through the pain but you can feel it in his music. and that's what a real artist is.....
It was about time Joey uploaded the video for this track. Great song and great video to match, defiantly the most under rated artist of our generation. This man needs more recognition.
