    Thank you for putting it where I can understand, knew to timesheets as a provider and this was truly helpful. Question I do have. How many hours a day should we not exceed? Especially when needing to give the time for sleep etc. fyi I am a provider for my daughter in home.

      That is a very good question and thank you so much. I would have to listen to your story at least a little bit more details because it’s very contradicting the way the system allows you to claim a certain amount of hours and it’s totally different what I’ve been hearing from counties where I have not seen it written on paper as a guideline to how many hours can be worked per day. It’s in reality is per 24 hours a day.

    Thank you for all that you do young Lady! God Bless! Taking care of a disabled loved one is hard enough as it is. This program and these videos are extremely helpful, more then you know. I've only been doing this a few months, and have one warning. I cant stress enough to other new providers, do your math as many times as needed to get it right. **I make as many copies/scans of timesheets as needed and fill them out till I get it right before proceeding to the real timesheet**. Don't go over 70.75 or 70:45 mins per week and you should be golden. Don't be afraid to call them if you have any questions. I have found not only are they very helpful, their really nice too!

    I’m doing my time on computer and the time sheet on computer the previous claimed hrs. And work wk hrs don’t add up the same. What I have on paper. I don’t want to get a violation. Now I’m afraid I’m doing it wrong. “Calgon take me away.” Any idea, on how it’s calculated?

    • @SandraIAyon
      @SandraIAyon  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The only thing that I can suggest besides me looking at it and figuring out what you did wrong. Is count the hours that you have on the previous timesheet. Remember that your work week starts on Sunday and ends on Saturday and it does not matter where the pay. Ends your hours are totaled from Sunday through Saturday. If you need help you can give me a call 562-281-3219 and I can tell you what I will charge you to help you learn how to do it correctly

    Why do claimed hours matter when we’ve already been paid and it’s a new week? Is it overtime that the county is against? It makes everything complicated.

    • @SandraIAyon
      @SandraIAyon  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You're right about sometimes they claimed hours counting towards overtime. It has nothing to do with the county not trying to pay you. Claimed hours are important because we are only allowed to work a certain amount of hours per client. Our work week starts on Sunday and ends on Saturday regardless of where the time period ends. Safari example if you are allowed to work 20 hours a week and you've already worked 10 hours for a pay. Which ended on Wednesday, that would mean that you could only work 10 more hours from Thursday 2 Saturday. Which would complete the work week total of 20 hours for Sunday through Saturday which is our work week. And I know I'm repeating this but I want you to slowly say it and write it down so you can visualize where it makes sense. If you have anymore questions I do have hourly consultations which usually avoid a violation when you take up my services. 562 2813 219

    Thank you Thank you I did add a comment just not sure where I am new at this, I get 283 month 70.75 week and if my provider gets 70 hours a week 10 hours a day for the 7 days in the week he will not get any violation?

    • @SandraIAyon
      @SandraIAyon  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just remember that the work week starts on Sunday and ends on Saturday and in that entire week you are allowed to do 70 hours a week. Remember that it does not matter where the timesheet starts or ends. Specially and Work Week 1 always count the hours claimed as part of the 70 even though they are paid already, then at you would add the remainder of hours from the 72 Work Week 1. So that the claimed hours plus the hours that you are claiming for that new timesheet do not exceed 70. I hope that helps if it doesn't please call me 562-281-3219 if I do not answer leave a message and I will get back to you as soon as I can. God bless you

      Not a problem sweetheart. You’re not the only one this is why I do what I do I do want you to know that I am the last one that you need to get a hold of to learn how to do this properly. I have never made a mistake in over six years and I do anywhere between 200 and 400 timesheets every month.

    I'm not going to read that in 144p lol... my caregiver had to make the math easy for the dumb dumbs or her time sheet would be F'ed up, my caregiver has been doing the time sheet for years and I know any time there is a problem its the idiots in the office who F'ed up.

    Why do you include Jan? All you need to do is work the 71 hrs 2/1-2/14 then 2/15-2/28 work one additional hour on one of those days and 2 on another day. Am I wrong or does it make sense?

    • @SandraIAyon
      @SandraIAyon  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good morning I know it's a little confusing but you have to include January in the hours authorized to work for each week. And I do need to make a correction it is not 71 hours a week it is 70 hours with 45 minutes even one minute will cost you a violation

    • @SandraIAyon

      Claimed hours are very important

      The time sheet blocked off Jan29-31 it also shows that I have 142 hours remaining this period. We get paid overtime so it really is not that big of a deal. Thank you

    • @SandraIAyon
      @SandraIAyon  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Patrick Robinson hi it is a big deal if you're not claiming that 70 hours with the 45 minutes every week because of the overtime. But it sounds to me that you are ready claiming the appropriate hours for you. Unfortunately there are other providers that do not go all the way to 70 hours and 45 minutes which is where they lose their overtime

    • @patrickrobinson1488
      @patrickrobinson1488 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I claim 70 hours one week, the next week 71..the following pay period I claim 70 hours one week 72 the following..I have never had a problem with this. You are discussing the 283 hours that some providers get, like myself Not the 70 hour 45 min work week Thank you..good luck, God bless

    Hi I’m confused I wanna to make sure where it says hours on the time sheet that mean how many allowed a month?

    • @SandraIAyon
      @SandraIAyon  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The best way to find out how many hours you are allowed per month is by contacting your provider Clerk. Sometimes the number that shows on the timesheet is not correct because it is an automated timesheet that a machine sends out to you. But if you want to make sure please do not hesitate to call your provider Clerk it is the best way to do it God bless
