If you have worked in retail before or in e-commerce that would be very beneficial. If you are in charge of management, I'm assuming you will be in-charge of generating customers as well. Skills you need to begin practicing would be: social media, ads ( facebook and social ), design, branding, email marketing, time management, communication, shipping, fulfillment, financial analysis, people management and patience! Of course, all of this won't come overnight and if you have money, much of it can be outsourced. Sure! Thanks for purchasing the list. There's a few steps you need to do to get this going. I'll try my best to describe them here. The cost of their medical supplies should be covered by Medicare, Medicaid and most private insurance plans, as long as they have a current prescription or order from their doctor. Co-pays and deductibles may still apply. After they've met their deductibles, Medicare and Medicaid will usually cover the majority of the cost of most durable medical equipment. First your business needs to be legally registered with the state and gov ( like explained in the video ). Second, you need to register your website and set up a website showing that you have medical supplies ready to be purchased via credit card online and that your website is ready to transact. ( can be dropship or wholesale ). If you go to google and type in "buy medical supplies online", you can model your website off of one of the top 10 listings shown on page 1. Third, make sure you've established a brand, logo, your website policies for shipping and accepting returns etc ( all the details mentioned in the video ) Fourth, you need to apply and be approved as a medicare / medicaid provider or supplier. If you want to be approved to accept Medicare, the Application Fee is $595 and approval can take up to 3 months. Here's a link to that application: www.cms.gov/Medicare/Provider-Enrollment-and-Certification/Become-a-Medicare-Provider-or-Supplier Once you approved, they will add you to this website where people can find you: www.medicare.gov/medical-equipment-suppliers/ After this step, you want to pay a web designer to go in and modify your website's checkout form to include lines for the Medicare / Medicaid billing information you need. The web designer needs to allow the order to be submitted, but only confirmed when a member of your team can actually verify the insurance coverage for the supplies they've ordered. You'll need to manually verify their coverage over the phone. Here's a link to which medical supplies are covered: www.medicare.gov/coverage/durable-medical-equipment-dme-coverage Once you confirm the final price and coverage, you can go back into your website dashboard, release the order and ship out the items. Don't forget to bill the insurance!!! Getting setup and registered as a provider is a bit of a hassle, and has a large upfront cost, but once you are approved and understand the requirements around billing insurance, it can open your business up to an entire new revenue stream of customers. If you don't want to do all of this....you can always accept credit / debit and just let them handle their own insurance reimbursements. Hi House of Games, You can setup your website to recieve process an order with insurance information in the form, but you need to be able to call in and verify the insurance before shipping it out. For this, two things, you need to communicate that you need this functionality built into your website to the web designer. It should be a simple form in the checkout area, they will have to setup your ecommerce back end to move orders to a "pending" status, until you've verified their insurance. Second, you need to become a provider who is eligible to accept insurance payments. Which is done directly through the insurance networks and discuss claims process / reimbursement rates. This could be a super long process. The good thing is, you can still sell medical supplies via dropship and you don't have to sell to people who want to use insurance. There's plenty of people who just want to buy supplies directly in cash / debit / credit. If I were you, I would take a look at Wholesale2B's dropship catalog. Sign up with them, browse their medical supplies and see if you want to setup a shop. Although Amazon is seen as the go to place to shop for everything, there may be several reasons a customer will shop with you. 1. Their doctor's office or a friend may have referred them to buy from you. 2. Your brand has delivered outstanding service or won awards, so you have a higher brand credibility and a good reputation as a medical supplies company 3. You may actually have lower prices on certain items then Amazon. 4. You may be able to offer them a discount based upon if they are first time customer or referral 5. You may be able to ship everything they need in a bundle and quicker than amazon 6. You may offer specialty medical supplies they cannot find anywhere else. 7. Register as a Supplier: Register your business as a Medicare DME supplier. This involves completing the CMS-855S application and providing information about your business and the products you offer. Work with healthcare providers to get referrals for patients who need medical equipment. Work with the best vendors, make your website easy and efficient to use, work on generating customers online through ads, but also diversity your marketing strategy to tactical / grassroots marketing. Marketing your business has unlimited options. If you have money, you can spend tons of money on ads, media buys, online placements, lead generation campaigns, even sales discovery tools to do email outreach. If you don't have much money, you can use cold-emailing and cold-calling to ask for 'introductions' with healthcare facilities, and also call them to find out how you can become a preferred vendor for supplies. Many of these companies use a vendor management system for procurement and are happy to on-board you as one of their partners. Make sure you have marketing materials that demonstrate why they should choose your company, which vendors you work with, and it's even helpful to outline the types of medical supplies you specialize in selling. Hi Kylin, You can setup your website to receive process an order with insurance information in the form, but you need to be able to call in and verify the insurance before shipping it out. For this, two things, you need to communicate that you need this functionality built into your website to the web designer. It should be a simple form in the checkout area, they will have to setup your e-commerce back end to move orders to a "pending" status, until you've verified their insurance. Many companies choose to have their stores setup where the customer can just pay out of pocket and call their insurance or billing specialists to discuss insurance claims / reimbursement processes. Second, you need to become a provider who is eligible to accept insurance payments. If you haven't done this, you'll need to register directly through the insurance networks and discuss claims process / reimbursement rates. This could be a super long process. The good thing is, you can still sell medical supplies via drop ship and you don't have to sell to people who want to use insurance. There's plenty of people who just want to buy supplies directly in cash / debit / credit. I would take a look at Wholesale2B's dropship catalog. Sign up with them, browse their medical supplies and see if you want to setup a shop. They allow you to easily post your medical supplies on eBay, Amazon and google, and a bunch of other networks and they setup and host your medical supplies website for a very small price. Hi Marlon, There's a couple ways to do that. You need to find medical device retailers and reach out to them. The easiest way to find these people are to google 'buy medical supplies'. It will show you a list of companies who sell medical device products. Call and email them to find out how your products can be sold in their shop. The process will vary from store to store. They will either put you in touch with the 'buyer', or you can ask for the 'buyer' or with the manager wholesale purchasing department. If you have worked in retail before or in e-commerce that would be very beneficial. If you are in charge of management, I'm assuming you will be in-charge of generating customers as well. Skills you need to begin practicing would be: social media, ads ( facebook and social ), design, branding, email marketing, time management, communication, shipping, fulfillment, financial analysis, people management and patience! Of course, all of this won't come overnight and if you have money, much of it can be outsourced. Sure! Thanks for purchasing the list. There's a few steps you need to do to get this going. I'll try my best to describe them here.
The cost of their medical supplies should be covered by Medicare, Medicaid and most private insurance plans, as long as they have a current prescription or order from their doctor. Co-pays and deductibles may still apply. After they've met their deductibles, Medicare and Medicaid will usually cover the majority of the cost of most durable medical equipment.
First your business needs to be legally registered with the state and gov ( like explained in the video ).
Second, you need to register your website and set up a website showing that you have medical supplies ready to be purchased via credit card online and that your website is ready to transact. ( can be dropship or wholesale ). If you go to google and type in "buy medical supplies online", you can model your website off of one of the top 10 listings shown on page 1.
Third, make sure you've established a brand, logo, your website policies for shipping and accepting returns etc ( all the details mentioned in the video )
Fourth, you need to apply and be approved as a medicare / medicaid provider or supplier. If you want to be approved to accept Medicare, the Application Fee is $595 and approval can take up to 3 months.

Once you approved, they will add you to this website where people can find you: www.medicare.gov/medical-equipment-suppliers/
After this step, you want to pay a web designer to go in and modify your website's checkout form to include lines for the Medicare / Medicaid billing information you need.
The web designer needs to allow the order to be submitted, but only confirmed when a member of your team can actually verify the insurance coverage for the supplies they've ordered. You'll need to manually verify their coverage over the phone. Here's a link to which medical supplies are covered: www.medicare.gov/coverage/durable-medical-equipment-dme-coverage
Once you confirm the final price and coverage, you can go back into your website dashboard, release the order and ship out the items. Don't forget to bill the insurance!!!
Getting setup and registered as a provider is a bit of a hassle, and has a large upfront cost, but once you are approved and understand the requirements around billing insurance, it can open your business up to an entire new revenue stream of customers.
If you don't want to do all of this....you can always accept credit / debit and just let them handle their own insurance reimbursements. Signing up for www.pasosdeals.com/square to accept all major credit cards is the easiest way to go.
Don't forget, like I said in the video, to sell to individuals who can pay cash or credit, but also to hospitals, doctors offices and healthcare facilities. They like to buy from trusted providers and local providers too, especially if you can offer your catalog at a bulk discount.

You may actually have lower prices on certain items then Amazon. 4. You may be able to offer them a discount based upon if they are first time customer or referral 5. There will always be competition. Work with the best vendors, make your website easy and efficient to use, work on generating customers online through ads, but also diversity your marketing strategy to tactical / grassroots marketing.
Marketing your business has unlimited options. If you have money, you can spend tons of money on ads, media buys, online placements, lead generation campaigns, even sales discovery tools to do email outreach.
If you don't have much money, you can use cold-emailing and cold-calling to ask for 'introductions' with healthcare facilities, and also call them to find out how you can become a preferred vendor for supplies. Many of these companies use a vendor management system for procurement and are happy to on-board you as one of their partners.
Make sure you have marketing materials that demonstrate why they should choose your company, which vendors you work with, and it's even helpful to outline the types of medical supplies you specialize in selling.
Always offer a new customer discount, to help motivate them or you can do a re-occuring discount on each order they place on your store or directly with you.

There's a couple ways to do that. You need to find medical device retailers and reach out to them. The easiest way to find these people are to google 'buy medical supplies'.
It will show you a list of companies who sell medical device products. Call and email them to find out how your products can be sold in their shop.
The process will vary from store to store. They will either put you in touch with the 'buyer', or you can ask for the 'buyer' or with the manager wholesale purchasing department.
Make sure you have your catalog, skus and wholesale & bulk pricing ready for them.

Hi Tiana, if you choose to use shopify, NOPE you don't need bluehost. Shopify has it's own hosting and I believe you can buy domains through them as well. You still need to setup a merchant account with Square. After that, login to the shopify app marketplace and download the third-party app to integrate Square.
