I am a trader, but all the narrations in the video I watched are true and accurate and private information. You deserve so many more likes my friend.
ICT taught that order blocks are made up of sequential up candles or down candles, and so I was wondering why you were taking a single bar and calling it an order block in the video on order blocks. This lines up with ICT, and appreciate you putting this out.
I support u, OB means the last down candle before the up candle and leaves imbalance and he is.......?? Idk
thats the definition he put up on his 2022 mentorship, on his older videos he always refers to a single candle
Agreed, but ICT also talks about buy/sell side liquidity being taken out with order blocks being used to indicate a possible "turtle soup".
So prosperityacademy is right, just explains it in a different way and probably doesn't use order blocks as a way of confirmation.
I did notice it before by myself that my trades are often not opened because the price comes back only to mitigate up to a wick above/below. I have noticed what you call "buy to sell/sell to buy" zones as order blocks from higher time frames. This is why the price will come back to a zone because at that point it's just mitigating OB from whichever higher time frame. Definitely going to try looking at "zones" instead of single candle ob's. My only concern is bigger SL's🤷🏻♂️
Overall meaning is that if you are looking for order block at 4 h timeframe than you an switch to the highr time frame orderblock like daily for now daily time frame will.cover all that area we are marking

Thanks for the video, I missed my trade a lot because of this, now I get it.
But I back tested this and I got induced majority of times, I mean I'll got tapped in from my buy2sell or sell to buy order block and I'll scale down to LTF for CHoCH. But majority of times market will find it way back to my inner order block.
How do I get around this, thanks

Does this work with stocks for example (spy) ?
But I see a downward trendline which can be taken as a liquidity zone above. You can see it clearly at 6:21 minutes of this video. But the market kept answering for the SMC concept while retail traders were involved in the trade as well. Why it didn't take out the trend line liquidity?

I have always wondered why big traders or good mentors on youtube have very low contrasting or same colors of candlesticks, But now all is cleared and I'm using the same. Hats off to you man, Keep up the good work

Its the psychological part of trading, less contrasting colors have less effect on your mind while trading

I stumbed on your channel and find very educative. Appreciate your contents. Educative, clear and concise. How long does it take to learn the whole SMC through your paid educational programme plus application process? Do you give your trade set ups for students to trade as they are learning and overcome FOMO. It is only when I trade with the best mentor and his ideas I not only get the practical experience to trade but develops confidence in a student. I am pretty much a beginner although theoretically I know quite a bit about trading. But when it comes to practical I get pissed off.

SL is not very big because if you watch other videos, he shows to take trades on 1-3 min giving you the smallest SL possible
