    Is this better than the 5000 series?

      I haven't tried the 5000, but I understand its designed for cutting large flat glass rather than smaller glass pieces for stained glass work.

    I like the idea of having metallic tubes instead of plastic ones that always tend to crack.

    Is there a big difference in the weight of a brass cutter compared to a plastic one, please?
    I'm a little worried about unnecessary effort when working with it for a longer time.
    Otherwise it's very nice.

      Hi Milan, the silberschnitt is a bit heavier than the plastic Toyo, but you’d get used to it very quickly !🙂

    There is nothing worse than getting that oil on your hand while trying to hold on your that cutter! 😂 Once I got used to mine though, I loved it.
