Third type: when you hear there’s a musical of the first book so you read the first book so you can listen to the soundtrack without spoiling the first book for yourself... and then you finish pjo and come back and listen to it again and finally understand some of the jokes that came from the rest of the series. I love the books and still did not hear of the musical until my friend who is obsessed with musicals told me. I was putting it off thinking it would be a repeat of the movies but I had a pleasant surprise when I listened to it.
Right after reading the 1st series, I heard drive and thought "That's cool" and forgot about it. Me now: WHY past me??? You lost a significant amount of happiness and having catchy songs stuck in your head at all times
Guys, I honestly think it would be a lot of fun to be a clear sighted mortal as well. I mean you get to see all the monsters and that. You know about the Greek gods and all but they dont really know you. A funny thing would be to walk up to random demigods and be like "Nice job taking down that hell hound." Then walk away with no other comments and if they try to ask you what you meant, you play dumb and act like you saw nothing.
This is why I was worried about going to see it because I could guarantee that I would run for the exits. Lucky I managed to stay seated and not look like an idiot 🙂
