- Learning new skills and working hard on building our yurt platform. We are still waiting on our yurt to arrive. We hope to know more next week so it is all coming together now!
There are a few things that we haven’t done in a while or even not done at all...OOPS! So cleaning it is, we made it a fun family activity and it was done in a minute. Now the temperatures are up and the cold is out, we store all our winter stuff. Always a relief when things like that are done, now it is time to enjoy spring!
We also have something special to celebrate, we made a fun trip to town another moment to enjoy life ❤️
Living off grid has changed our life in a good way!

Here's a good tip for a novice.
When you want to join (hardwood ) pallets( not pellets) PREDRILL the screw holes ONE SIZE SMALLER than the screw. Then switch the drill bit for the screwhead you are using.This will allow an easy attachment and will not wear out your drill motor.
PS You can also do the same for nails.

Yes, a DM 8 meter! Enough for a family of five to sleep and create a nice living area. Most time we will be outside 😊

We moved in later, we had to go back after we signed the contract. But yes we have done a lot and feel satisfied with what we achieved! Looking forward to our next year 💚
Thanks for your vid 😇💟💟💟 Love and bless you all guys, maybe the electric fence needs a good earth pin and you can throw some water on it and maybe you are standing on rubber shoes this can protect you from getting a shock. Nice that you there already 1 year you guys did a lot of work, some river beaches in the village also have a little snack bar it could be nice for the kids to go there and meat other children to play with.
Thanks for your reply. The electric fence is working well now and we had no longer any visit from goats in our garden. The tips are still helpful though it might help us in future issues. Always happy to learn.
Bars at the beaches are mostly opened in summer. We will definitely spend lots of time there since it is a nice place to cool down and have fun 💚
