That’s wonderful! I highly suggest Craftsmart polymer clay from Michaels because it’s a soft. Perfect for beginners/young hands) Amazon definitely has the best starter toolsets for the price. Look for a little variety- silicon tools, ball tools, cutters, and a roller will be great. Aluminum foil to use as a base for thick creations of course. When I try to make something with it, after only little while, like the name suggests, it gets all soft, and sticky, just overall incredibly difficult to work with, seems to have to do with it getting warm from my body temperature or something? But when I see you work with it your clay seems to hold it's shape better than mine, do you have any advice or do you think there is anything wrong with my clay specifically?:p
Yes! When polymer clay is too soft/gummy to work with the best thing to do is “leech” it! My favorite way is taking two white blank sheets of printer paper and placing your clay rolled out thinly in between the papers. You can then sit that under a book or something weighted to apply pressure and leave it for about 10 minutes. This will remove the excess oils making the clay firmer to work with. I super appreciate the details you provided me thank you! It was hard to spot the differences. I did notice in the comparisons of him throughout his appearances that only his first appearance in Yoshi’s island he has spikes on his shackles. If I were to make him I’ll definitely keep the spikes anyway because it separates him more from Bowser Jr’s looks

That’s why I haven’t made him yet! I wish I could find out a way to make him with movable arms at least. I honestly have no idea 😭 I also want to make him with multiple heads that have different facial expressions 🍄
