Better to use sustained release because gastric side effects is less and it stays for more time and drug release in the blood is smooth and sustained....
My dad sugar post meal 250 & pre meal 110 should I go for repaglidine 0.5 or volibo R 0.3/0.5 or glyciphage G2 which is best option plz sugget me better option our local doctor recommend us Glyciphage G2 with one time insulin

Type 1 is very uncommon.... still for confirmation u can get fasting insulin and c peptide assay
