1 more fact: the backup dancers were hired by Kai and his team, the audition took about 2 months because he wanted to get all the best dancers in his solo debut ^^. It shows how much effort he put into his solo career. The whole album sounds super amazing too

kai’s power in exo plant concept is teleporting that’s why you see it a lot in the mv and the last part represents the two members that gonna get out of the military next next month is Xiumin who represents ice and january d.o who represents earth so this is might be a hint that we’re getting something from them 😭

Whole EXO has kinda sci-fi concept that has been going on since their debut (or pre-debut). They are aliens from EXO Planet, and they all have different superpowers. And like you could guess, Kai's is teleportation. He said in a recent interview that at first he wasn't so sure about that concept, but it has grown on him over the years, and that's why he wanted to include it in his solo album too. And that end-credit scene was some kind of teaser for two other members, Xiumin (frost) and D.O. (strenght/earth) who are soon to return from military. Rest of the superpowers are Chanyeol: fire, Baekhyun: light, Suho: water, Chen: lightning/electricity, Sehun: wind and Lay: healing.
You would probably like Lay's and Baekhyun's solo works too, so I highly recommend you to check out for example 'Un Village' from Baek and 'Honey' from Lay. And of course other EXO members too, my personal favorite is Suho! He's 'Self-Portrait' album is a masterpiece. But really, they are all good, all have at least one solo song and together as gorup they are unstoppable.

Thank you for your comment! Here in the Differently Alike comment section we encourage essays! So thank you so much for explaining the EXO concept because it flew over our heads in this MV. So reading this explanation makes so much sense and that’s really endearing that even in his solo work he references his group and even the members that are coming back.
So it seems we have a lot of work ahead of us!! Grateful the holiday season is coming up so we can catch up on EXO/Kai.

So glad to see SM really support and take Kai to SUPER STATUS. This recognition is so overdue. He is not just a visual/dancer.
But this album is Kai himself. The budget is from his own pocket. He got to decide his own team from producers, songwriters, dancers, stylists. He also who is responsible to pick songs in this album. SM do the bare minimum, as always.
