Bo Jackson was like a real life super hero. Growing up in the 80’s and 90’s this guy was right there with MJ. I can’t remember anyone people would ever tune in to watch more, even to this day

I got a true fact for you.
BO JACKSON was even BIGGER than Michael Jordan. SERIOUSLY !
His football injury changed ALL THAT !
Remember. Jordan didn't really become The Jordan he is now until....1992.
      By then, and unfortunately,
      BO had become.... Human.

"I've been doing that since I was 8-9 years old" is such a great answer. It's one of those statements that is hilarious because legends genuinely mean that when they say it, and it's so absurd to us as fans when in reality it really was just a regular day at the office for him to do the things he did.

The greatest athlete to walk the Earth was going to give up one of the venues he can show off his skills for his kids growth?! That's even more legend. As a former h.s. football coach I've seen a lot of talent wasted by morons and scumbags. To be as good as he was and he didn't end up a neverwas, wash out loser is amazing. I was a Freshman at AU when that happened. We had a great baseball team that year and I think a good chance to win it all. When the NCAA rules Bo as ineligible because of what Hugh did it crushed Bo and the team. Bo is definitely one to hold a grudge and I bet he still holds a grudge regarding that. He and the team lost an opportunity they could never get back.

@@barrym2112 The thing is, Bo is a man of integrity. He didn't care about the money, but if you screwed him over, he would NEVER forget it. As a Florida resident, I feel ashamed that we were associated with Hugh Culverhouse.
