    I love these conversations. Liberal government vs fasicst government is simply a difference in mode of capitalist governance. That idea alone is world changing.

    Imho, the most crucial topic today. Fascism is here.

    Liberalism Fascism ; Good Cop Bad Cop
    The forces that by stealth or overtly disrupt socialist movements to protect capitalism & profits
    Not many people accept that movies, academia, music are politically curated .
    Your all encompassing analysis restores my sanity.
    A clear explanation which untangles the confusion of ideas broadcast everyday in media.
    THANK YOU!

      Didn't you guys took derrida supposedly descrbing fascist tactics and ideology as a hit to do exactly what he described?

    Around 43:00, about Ford being a fascist, how do we interpret the fact that he also contributed to the soviet revolution by economic contracts etc.?

    • @neebomb2511
      @neebomb2511 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Ford was definitely an anti-Semite etc. Probably had Nazi sympathies. However, you're quite right about the US haute bourgeoisie investing in the USSR as well as Nazi Germany. The Koch family for instance, made much of their fortune in the USSR, as far as I know. I think the great depression explains this quite well. Profitability in the capitalist core (and perhaps even the periphery?) was low during this period (say 1929-1939). Things were different in Nazi Germany, presumably due to their use of industrial slave labour (actually it was worse than slave labour) and things were different in the USSR due to the state led model (and debt repudiations in 1917, de-linking etc).
      This is a weakness in Rockhill's narrative that I too picked up on and one that I would like him to address.

    The question and analysis provided by the formerly incarcerated person, starting around 1:44:00, are really important to consider, in my opinion. The talks I've heard from Orisanmi Burton, relating to his book _Tip of the Spear,_ seem to support to the view put forward by George Jackson and the person who asked the question here. I'd love to hear Prof. Rockhill and Prof. Burton hash this out together.
