I have a friend who suffers from bipolar disorder. I remember how she was skipping her medication and it got to a point where we had to lock her up in a room until help came. She would say all manner of evil and accuses her family of hurting her and when she came around she could not remember her behavior. Her daughter would run and hide when she's having an episode, she lost her marriage and job. It is really a difficult situation for both the patient and family. Kanye needs a lot of love and support right now because he's not thinking rationally and generally with bipolar disorder, the people who are closest to the victim are seen as their enemies. Mental illness is no joke. Prayers for him and family.

Looking at the whole situation I can tell that this isn’t easy for either of them, and I’m sure that they don’t need our opinions and assumptions on top of everything that’s happening. I saw people coming for Kim on social media and accusing her of cheating, yet no one is accusing Kayne of being paranoid or lying. I don’t get why people can’t at least be respectful to both parties instead of feeding into rumors and drama.

bi-polar is a mood disorder characterised by extreme episodes of elation or psychosis and crushing lows. These episodes can last months. It is not a personality disorder where, depending on which cluster you're in, you can experience extreme changes in emotional states, sometimes several times a day but not in long episodes like bi-polar. Perhaps a bit of research would be beneficial to you also?

*Not everyone with bipolar acts like this* Just a note on that, but most individuals with bipolar (not all) will never be anywhere near as outspoken or public with their feelings when they are struggling like Kanye. I've struggled with mental illness for about fifteen years now along with PTSD, and I agree with Kim's post. As an adult (or anyone near/over eighteen), you HAVE to have things in place for someone close to you or otherwise to make choices if you become too ill to make them yourself. That is coming from someone who will never have the amount of money to get treatment or therapy anywhere near what he can afford. As much as I absolutely disagree with just about everything Kanye has ever said or done, he deserves the chance to some stability as well as to have some intense treatment and therapy, at this point that would probably require having him sent to a care center or assigned a caregiver for 24/7 supervision. He can afford it, and considering the consequences to his words and actions, it is for his own safety and those around him. Kanye needs someone close to him to step in and step up fast, but I don't think Kim is obligated to that, especially if the way he has treated her and the kids when he is feeling generally stable is controlling or abusive.
