I’m 55 and I still love cute things so there is no judging from me. Maybe I don’t hang my carebears on my bags but does not mean you can’t. Go for it I say. Its your life and your bags and you should definitely do whatever you want and all those judgy people need to get a life

Word of caution. Unfortunately I have to travel a lot for work. My go-to travel bag is my longchamp Pliage and I used to routinely put my hair clip on the bag’s (leather) handle just for practicality-sake during long trips. The bag was new but the hair clip has damaged and scraped the leather within just a few trips. Make sure the hair clip you apply to any expensive handbag’s handle as an accessory , doesn’t have inner spikes. Many do to help grip your hair.

I love Hello Kitty/Sanrio too! Even Sophie Shohet and Hellocatwalk city like them too, so no need to be embarrassed. I noticed when I was in Japan that lots of girls had bag charms on their bag and I had fun putting a couple on my bag as well! Unfortunately they came off a few days before we were due to leave but I hope they ended up in good homes.

I have several charms too but I almost never use them cos they are too heavy (may cause dents on the leather esp those metal ones) or delicate (furs and rain dun mix).
