  • Should have known better, this plane is known for stalling, have to keep the speed up & cut the throttle just before landing. :(

One way of helping to stop tip stalling is to raise each of the airlerons a bit to give some washout, worked with another model I had.
    Good luck!
    Edited -spelling!

Would you need to put them on separate channels or can you keep the Y-harness setup?

@@thebunkreport I have done this on aircraft with just a single servo for aileron control, just adjust each aileron up a bit using the screw connectors to the aileron horns. Give each one say 3 turns up as a start and then take it from there. Best of luck.

V3? Strike 3! That is the worst tip stalling plane I have ever seen, even without retracts. They need to smash the wing's mold and start fresh.

Gosh...every video I've seen of this HK Lancaster ends in a crash.
I don't need a plane that helps me crash...I can do that easily enough on my own.

It's a known problem since Version 1 ..this is Version 3 and Hobb6 King have not sorted out the problems with it tip stalling...time and time again I see these tip stall sand break up..sorry to see yours is no different.....

Yes,there fix with the v3 was supposed to be lighter with no retracts, installed them anyway, probably shouldn't have. Repaired the plane took out the retracts, we'll see how it goes. Thank you for watching.

@@waynesrc1958 I purchased the retracts before I knew the history of this Hobby King Lancaster - so will not be using them, I have 1. removed the little bumps under the wing (just cut them away) - 2. crushed the foam on the underside of the wing between the outer nasals and the fuselage so it has less of an aerofoil shape - as it comes its almost the same as the top of the wing (doing this I hope to increase the amount of lift on the wing) 3. removed the tail wheel & Pushrod. 4. Removed both outer motors, props, and glued the spinner over the hole (it will fly very well on the pair of inner motors and not so much of a rocket ship) 5. using an 1800Mah battery and not a 2200Mah 6. Added 1mm of up aileron (both of them) 7. installed (made) some balsa Fixed Flaps between the Fuselage and the first Nasal and the First Nasal and the outer nasal... and I am still not sure it will NOT Tipstall - Time will tell - cannot fly right now due to WINDY weather... Fingers crossed for the both of us...

This is not a wingtip stall.at 0.29 you can hear and see ,that the engines not throttle up at the same time.engine 3 and 4 have a delay of one ore more seconds. And the plane spins over the right wing.i think the plane is fine.the problem are the engines.

I think all that's needed is to calibrate the ESCs.

because that is to violent for a tip stall, the left wing went up to fast, indication of motors throttle up.

My maiden did the same thing but much lower. About a foot off the deck on approach. The LG came out and stripped the tail wheel servo. No other damage, but I will NOT be flying this piece of crap again. I've flown ALL kinds of planes and NONE were even close to being as bad as this piece of crap. It'll be a static display after I rip out the retracts and electronics for use in something that actually flies.

Not a "tip stall", just a regular stall, made worse by applying more up elevator!!!
