Love your picks for a starter kit! This was so informative, and I agree with your remarks about mascara- there are some great ones at every price point. I have recently purchased Glossier Lash Slick and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. Very super natural lashes that are perfectly coated with no mess. I find the shade of black to be just right for me- not soo harshly black but just right. Have a great day!!

Hi Erin! I discovered the Chanel CC cream from your channel and I love it! I use it to even my skin before applying my foundation. I have just run out of my Vitalumiere foundation and after your video last week took the plunge and ordered the Sublimage and omg I love it! I’m so glad you had a budget, I find that lots of other TH-camrs don’t consider any budget and it may be assumed that if you are diving into the luxury make up world you have an excess of money to spend. This is so not true! And a concise selection is a good way to have a luxury collection with it still being affordable, to a certain extent. I, myself have just started buying a couple of luxury items, Charlotte tilbury, hourglass and Tom Ford and am now very interested in trying the Dior airflash! I was going to buy the Soleil tan de Chanel and was put off from other TH-camrs about the formula change however, after your comparison video I think it will still give the new one try! Thank you. Xx

Armani Luminous Silk is one of the best concealers I've bought this year and I have about 50 different mostly high end concealers... seems like I have alot of your recommendations, The Armani concealer, the airplane, the ysl finishing powder, the Dior blush (I have the coral),Gucci lipstick (I love sheer MargueriteJade and sheer Katrin Sand ... you definitely have great taste!!

Lol no it doesn't, you do have to make sure you spray directly on the brush! I've accidentally sprayed too close to other items (like the camera) and it always makes me nervous but I've never had a problem :) xx

I think it works for combo... I used to be more combo but now i'm combo/normal. If you're really oily you might need some sort of mattifying primer just in case :) xx

I think I’m going to ask my husband for the CT palette for my birthday. It looks like a better version of the UD Naked Cherry palette. I liked the color scheme of that one but a lot of the shades looked like satins and I like distinct mattes & metallics.

I'm in the minority but I do not like the Chanel CC. The coverage is to heavy. The Dior Flash is beautiful. I haven't worn it in a couple of years. I will have to pick it up again.
The only thing that cancerns me with the CC cream is how high alcohol is in the ingredients. Helena
Here are many different types of alcohol used in makeup. If it doesn’t bother you don’t worry about it. I can give you a list of 50 things more important to worry about and none of them involve makeup
I think your eyeshadow choice needs more colors than pink & warm colors. How about a good brown or a gray? That is the only choice that didn’t appeal to me. So many blue eyed influencers show pinks and oranges on their eyes and I don’t think those colors look as good on brown eyes. Most of the world has dark eyes.
