  • Vlogging has been put on the back burner with a new baby. Hopefully we can get all caught up soon. These videos are as much for us, as you. We love being able to look back and see how much our kids have grown and changed. In this vlog we are really just learning how to be a family of four!

    Chelsea it broke my heart to see you crying. PP depression is so real. Try to think of happy times or do something that will cheer you up. It should pass soon. Marlin is adorable and Bonnie is a great big sis. Kudos Joe for getting the kids to nap together. Stay healthy and happy Lewis fam and the garden looks good too.

      It passed very quickly. It was just one of those days. We are doing great now.

    That was a beautiful video. It's so encouraging that you shared the downside of being a mum, and letting other mums know it's ok to have a hormonal and tearful day. Bonnie is growing up so quickly and Marlin is just cuteness overload, you have been blessed with two beautiful children. You are both great parents, you're doing a brilliant job. Have a wonderful week 💞

      Thank you, I was not sure if I should add it or not. Hopefully it will help another mom not feel so alone.

    Chelsea, Marlin is so cute, I love his knitted outfit he had on..And Bonnie and her ballet dancing with Joe was so cute..she really does good with that..You hand in there, no one can do everything thing at once, just do one room a day if you have too,nothing has to be perfect,as long as your happy and have a happy little family there..love the pool, that's cute..

      Annmarie you are so right it's important to see and talk about the reality of life otherwise we think everyone else is handling things perfectly when we all have our struggles especially having a newborn and the sleep deprivation that comes with that. Xx

    A newborn and toddler with maintaining such big house is overwhelming, i don't know how people do this in the west, in India a new mother has so many people to help, mother or mother in law, a house maid, a lady for massage and bathing the kid, sometimes cook... May god bless you with lots of strength and enthusiasm, good health and speedy recovery, may you be blessed with energetic days and peaceful nights 🙏

    Both Bonnie and Marlin are adorable. Bonnie is a great big sister and helper. You never really know how a child will react having a new baby in the house but it's evident that you prepared Bonnie well. Xx

    I have 4 children and yes sometimes it did get overwhelming. If you have to put her in front of the TV and put the baby in the bouncy. Put the music on and get yourself in the mood. My husband always worked so I was always alone. But I got through it to. Yes some days will be stressful but you are a strong intelligent woman. And it will all work it self out. And don’t feel bad about how you feel. It will all get better.

    Chelsea and Joe, you are doing fantastic! Such a joy to watch your family grow from 3 to 4. Bonnie and Marlin look so healthy and happy! You get far more done than I ever did when my kids were young! My favorite scene in this video? Joe and Bonnie dancing ballet ❤️

    "Starting over is a mental game " I felt like that during and previous pandemic and sometimes still but less and less, i wish i could tell you a magical sentence to make you feel better, for me it was finding you in youtube and few others that gave me peace and during the video watching " my mind stopped punishing me" for i dont know what reason. Starting to do something was sooo hard, i could be feeling guilty during one day for not starting to do something, i was soo trapped there. Somehow watching your videos helped me lots, and knitting is my yoga and little by little i feel better. I wish i could gave you some of what you gave me to helping you to feel better. But i only can tell you that you helped me and i am sooo gratefull for it. And Bonnie made me smile when smiling was hard. I really do appreciate youf family and i hope you feel better soon . Big hugs for you Chelsea and thank you so much !! Go girl , dont be hard on yourself , there is nothing you "have to do or feel " be nice with yourself, you just " made a new life " !!!! Bit hugs!!! Marlin and Bonnie are sooo cute !!!

    It’s ok to have emotional breakdowns. You need to release it. I am a single mom and I know all too well what going from 1 to 2 kids is like and it can be difficult. You’re a great mother, wife and person but you’re also an individual who needs to take care of yourself too. If you feel overwhelmed, soak in a hot bath, go sit outside or go for a walk on your own. The same goes for Joe too! Ask someone to stay with the kids for a bit so you and Joe can go do something as a couple because that’s important too. Don’t feel like you have to take care of all the chores all at once, just take care of them one at a time as you’re able to and if it takes awhile to get them all done that’s fine. Go at your pace!
    If it’s something you think you might need to talk to a professional about, never be ashamed because it might be the best thing you can do for yourself at that time. I have had to do it myself a few times for different reasons and it helps a lot!

      Don’t put to much on yourself your children won’t remember their childhood for how their home was they will remember the happiness and enjoyment.Housework and renovation can wait our babies are number one. You are both brilliant parents some days just don’t work out how we want them to but the children go to bed fed and happy that’s what matters. So what the dishes aren’t done or is the rest of the house you don’t need to impress anyone.

    I highly recommend not pronouncing words like she does. Pronounce them the way they're supposed to so that they don't get into that happen even more and think it's normal. She may or may not grow out of this who knows kids pronounce words differently my nephew had a lisp and he grew out of it. I had a list and I needed someone to help me with that. So I highly recommend improving her with reward to practice saying words with s's differently

    • @LewisFamilyVlogAlaska
      @LewisFamilyVlogAlaska  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for your concern. She is three and we have pushed her in a lot of ways to be wise beyond her years. So we are trying to cherish the words she comes up with. We do usually say the words correctly and eventually she does to. This was really to save a moment for us. Pretty soon she won’t be miss pronouncing any words.
