There is something worth noting about scene where the springlocks first activate with Afton in the Spring Bonnie suit. The exposed area where the cupcake takes a bite out of the suit was CGI. However in the case regarding the design, it does look like it was mashed together by the prop designers. But yet, that's why their are channels like this that call out the faults and improve upon them. Thank you for this video and remember to always come back!
Well, the part of the springlock suit that appears in the movie also exists in the game, search for Springtrap's endoskeleton and you will see that the ribcage area is the exact same from the movie
in the film there was three spring locks on the chest plate (maybe some in the arms and legs) they keep the endo-skeleton in place to stop it from moving around too much
Theory: The spring locks suits in the movie are created to kill employees on purpose. The reason why William uses that suit is because he knows that if he dies in agony inside that suit he will become immortal because his soul will posses the suit with his body inside
Bro no way you put the springlock suit on. (If it fails it can crush your ribcage bone and the bones can stab your lungs making them bleed from the inside so you would be choking in your own blood. Just like william)
I think you need to make a rachet and release part of it, so you can use a crank. Also, you need the ratchet to go both ways. Springlocks are made to hold the person in the center of the suit so it isn't too loose or too tight. Kind of like a shirt that can change its size. So you need to wind them, get in, and then get someone else to slowly wind it down til' you are gripped enough where the suit isn't moving around you, or you aren't uncomfortable. I believe this to be the actual use case of the springlocks by scott since there isn't any other use case. In real life, this does exist! But it doesn't use springs. It's called a "Belt".
The springlock mechanism is made to compress and hold the mechanical parts of the endoskeleton away so a person can climb inside. It's not meant to "hold a person" it is meant to hold the parts away from where a human is supposed to go.
@@printpython2755this is true, but what op said is the most viable explanation as to why TF the movie ones hold no electronics and seemingly can't function as animatronics
@@fluffyfoxer I see, I think the movie ones are just oversimplified. From a cinematography standpoint they are easier to make and for the audience to understand.
These springlocks look cool can propably dislocate ribs at "worst" so definetely safer than the game and movie springlocks And propably not fail with literal breathing so much more secure

it is but the problem with the suit overall is there isn't the mechanisms in the arms legs or all around, unlike how it is in the games

Your vids have inspired me to make real springlock suits as well. Awesome vids 😊
You should really post vids of your suits!
You should open a kids pizzeria called fredbears family diner, and use some of your springlock suits as animatronics!
Don’t trigger the springlocks!
Random idea: build a second one, put a ballistics dummy inside and see what a real life springlock failure would look like
that’s an interesting idea that I never thought of.
That would be cool to see
I’m making a springlock suit so I will do that with a different suit
He really wants to know how William Afton became a furry💀
Incredible work you do ❤
This guy is going to discover remnant and agony in real life
this is really good you actually made a springlock suit and put it on unlike everyone else and you also got straight to the point
Buy a ballistic gel torso, i wanna see what happens to that when the suit goes off
That is the safest spring lock I have ever seen you'd have to purposefully set them off good manufacturing
ngl, the voice reminds me of pj hiwood for william. And the suit ? Very good looking. So far, you both are the best manu i've seen.
these are really cool and i like how accurate they are but still function
THAT IS JUST PERFECT OMG
Man its only time when someone makes and actual springlock suit and test it out on a ballistics dummy!
Just don't go near water trust me 😅
could you showcase more? this concept is so fricking cool
there is an entire series on why this is a bad idea

Can we get the model
Nice job keep up the good work

Yes, but in the game, the locks moved parts of the endoskeleton so that a person could get into the suit, this was not shown in the file
there is 1 movie and a whole series of games explaining why this is a bad idea
YOU PUT IT ON!!?!?!!???!!??!!

I just love the idea of walking around as springbonnie in comic con for example, and just a random time just getting springlocked.
.... h m m- .. don't fall into the Pool-
The spring lock suits from the movie are basically industrial mouse trap torture devices things.
The fact that you kinda resembled young Matthew Lillard makes this video so much better.
