For me personally this coin has a emotional value to it as well. I was born in '98 year of the tiger, and I'm going to be a father in 2022. This coin is just spot on! Had to get 2 of them of course haha.
It was definitely difficult not to buy a kilo Completer))) one thing that saved me from doing it is a high possibility of 10 oz Completer in spring 2022 😉
I think the fact that it takes 12yrs is what makes it special if it moon shots great if not I will have a super nice collection in 12yrs I'll probably never sell them anyway, I am working on 4 sets 1oz proof, guilded and colour + the 2 ounce it's just something I buy every year doesn't break the bank but it's well over 600 a year to secure them I wouldn't jump in half way through back dates are getting harder to find even the mouse from 2020 in 1oz coloured is getting difficult to find.
I believe what happens is that the mintage is left open, and once it comes to the end of the series, as the new animal kicks off, they announce the mintage for the previous animal year. So u are fairly accurate, that it is around 300,000 to 500,000. I hope BYB takes note of this comment. 😉
I purchased the 2022 Platinum Lunar Tiger Unlike the Silver & Gold coins, with Unlimited Mintages, the Platinum coins are limited to only 5,000 pieces I picked up 4 ~AGM

Usd capped also got lion privy but on the dog I lost the dragon with lion privy on last day of 8 day bid I was winning by 3 bids but lost it as I slept away in deep slumber 😂 yes I'm pist

Have you seen the perth mint lunar series 3 that have a dragon privy mark that is exclusive to bullion exchanges?? I was wondering if they are legit and why does perth do that just for them

I did get the Lion of England 1st queen beast Tudor series 2 oz from HERO they are currently out tho mine shipped today 69 n change can't wait

The year of the tiger series are as many as up to 8-10 k and some 18k basic but I haven't seen them pass 22k yet

I think this new series lost something that the other 2 series had. I can't my finger on it but the coins look a little too "commercial".
