Hey Indy! I was wondering if you could make a video where you discuss ALL of the things people should know before heading to the skatepark and also how to be more confident skating in front of other people. This would be super helpful so people are able to know everything they need to know before going there so people are more confident with things they need to know like stopping or transitions. I’m planning on going to the stake park sometime but I get nervous when there are other people there. Love! 💛💛
I started park skating not too long ago and I've still got a long way to go but these are things I recommend doing. 1. Go in the mornings- I get to the skatepark at around 9:30/10 it's empty and I have it all to myself so I can practice on any of the ramps/bowls I want without getting run over by kids on skateboards and bikes. I find a few 5/6-year-olds will come and go during this time but normally teens will start arriving at 11:30 and 12. 2. Go with a friend- It's good to go with a friend in case you fall and need an ambulance or some help but they can really help with confidence. For example, my friends will sit at the top of the bowl and I will skate up to them, if I fall over we laugh together and if there are other people I don't feel as scared because I know my friends will stick up for me if anyone says anything. 3. Take water!- You will need it, especially if it's a hot day! 4. Take your time - skate around the skatepark on the flat bits too get a feel for what its like on the skatepark. Hope this helps!
@@crazygirlontheblock311 agree 10000% with going early in the morning! scooter kids dont often pay attention to anyone around them and especially when you are working on something new or just trying to get used to skatepark skating it can be really challenging with kids zooming around.

We skated it this morning early with no one around and this place is AWESOME!!! A definite change from our Skate park in Roanoke TX… Tips were GREAT!!! She got to skate in a bowl for the first time.

My best friend has a half pipe in her backyard that her family built one year, and they have skate parties well not anymore because of covid but still and I used to go and sit there and watch the boys skateboard and there was this one girl who would roller skate and it was so cool. Now I love to roller skate but have not gotten the courage to go to a skatepark and I think I'm going to go to their house within the next year to practice there because I know them and it won't be as embarrassing whenever I fall on my face
Maybe you could come to temecula it would be a dream come true there is a bomb park at Ronald Reagan Park it is my favorite and very few people rollerskate at it just me and my friend and it would be awesome for you to come down and influence people to come down I went there for the first time yesterday and from your videos only fell once in the bowl but I learnt a lot from you. You are a huge inspiration to me
It’s my second day ever using roller skates I can already skate backwards some what decently and had a few decent attempts at shoot the duck... I’m not quite ready for a skate park but this will be very helpful when I get there :D

I have never tried this. The nice warm weather is here so outside skate parks are something I’m curious to try. I’ve been trying to learn how to pump on ramps at an indoor skate park. I’m ok pumping going forward, it’s the backwards pump that I can’t seem to get right. It’s stopping me from dropping in. Any tips?

1 are you gonna skate outdoor or indoor? Smooth or rough surface? 2 for bearings al long as they’re for an 8mm axle with is most skates any will be fine, most work on the abec rating so the higher the number the higher the quality usually(example, abec9 is high quality) but bones reds are the go to for a lot of skaters

They did an honest review on the rainbow rides. And rainbow riders are good for beginners but not recommended for the skate park....
