I have one of these that I haven't used in some time now, I find the seat to be a bit uncomfortable, could use more padding. The bike is well made, it is a single speed and is intended for use on mostly level ground. I plan to see about modifying the seat and start riding again in the spring.
Awesome video! I just purchased one for myself. Videos like yours sealed the deal. Im surprised this doesnt have more views! Not very many Mobo reviews on YT. Thanks again!
Thank you for the for the kind words! I honestly just took it upon myself to make the video and the folks at Mobo seemed glad to see it. Have fun on yours!
@@gabriellopez3879 The computer and the bottle mount and the mirror came from WalMart. The camera mount is one of the GoPro standard issue mounts I secured to the fender using zip ties. It's sketchy but it stays on there well enough.
You have a nice set of trikes there. I'm changing mine up. Local shop is laceing my front hub into a 24 inch wheel. I'm extending my forks to work with this. Should be just a tad faster, get you a little further with each turn of the peddle.
How does the steering mechanism work? Can it be steered left and right from the right steering handle only? My left arm is paralyzed but I’m very interested in getting something I can still ride safely.
It looks like it doesn't require a great deal of leg strength. I am looking at one of these to help with leg strength and range of motion in my legs after an extended illness that let my legs get very weak. lol Exercising is more fun if you are going somewhere.
@@shananagans5 The pedals on the 20 inch wheel makes for a very low gear, 50 something inches I think. So it's very easy to pedal on level ground and you go just about walking speed (maybe 4 mph). Up any sort of a hill gets harder to push. On a very steep hill you'll just spin the front wheel because most of your weight is on the rear wheels.
If the back tires quickly wear out on the edges, the rear wheels need a toe-in adjustment. Maybe they have that fixed from the factory by now, one of ours was way out when it was new but the other one was fine right out of the box.
Hi Mj. I haven't noticed any problem with the seat angle or any pressure on the tailbone. We find the seat quite comfortable in all regards, to a certain point. The seat's a piece of wood, after all. We have to get off and fluff our butts after about 3 miles and then we go some more. But everyone's different of course.
I got this for my 12 year kid, he loves it but after long rides he complains his butt hurts, you guys have any problems sitting long rides? Did you get use to it?
We have to get off and fluff our butts after about an hour. But then it's back on for more. What a difference between that and a two-wheeler seat which bruises it way up to about your third vertebra.
6'1" might work, the center bar that holds the front wheel adjusts out a pretty long ways. They say it's rated to 250 lbs, I would imagine the frame geometry gets a bit weaker the farther out you move the front wheel.
Oh come on those things are useless. They have no gears. The instant you try to go up any incline the front drive wheel comes off the ground and propulsion ends. To me they are not even worth the three to four hundred bucks.
DO NOT BUY THIS BIKE it has 1 speed (and do you want your top speed to be 3 MPH) if you are going to buy a trike by a good trike like a cat trike or a ice trike i have a friend who got a mobo trion pro for his kid and let me tell you he did not like it so DO NOT BUY THIS BIKE
I love this video! Y'all make everyone want to ride one!
Love your "Retirement Racing" decal on the truck! 😀 I ride mine about 5 miles a day to smell the roses in my neighborhood.

Just got a blue Triton Pro for my 58th birthday 🎂 Here’s to new adventures!

I'll be ordering one from Amazon tomorrow. Should get it in a week or so.
Nice little trike, im building a custom 48v 500w with plastic tub.

Any maintenance hacks or tips you can share with a newbie?

It's Big Wheel for adults.
Yep! It's hard to not think that while riding it because it goes every bit as fast as a Big Wheel.😃
Where did you get the longer flag pole and which mirror did you get! I like how yours looks?
WalMart and WalMart.
Thanks for the video. How comfortable is the angle on the seat with your back? Is there pressure on the tailbone? Thanks

Im 5,11 at 285 would this be suitable for me ? Ty
Here's what they say in the description: 4' to 6'3" tall, up to 250 pounds.

Where are the brakes?
There's a caliper brake on the front wheel and the handle is on one of the steering grips.
You cou get some more speed out of those with a slumpf drive. I’m sure I misspelled that.
A schlumpf drive is worth more than that ill made kid's toy and probably wont fit anyway. Just get a proper recumbent trike instead.
One speed?
Yes.
I'm getting one

I SAW THE MOBO TRITON PRO FOR 95.00 DOLLARS ON THE NET, COULD YOU TELL ME IF THE PRICE SEEMS CORRECT. THANKS.
No!
That's a scam site.
Yeah these run about $300 or more
More than what they're worth. Test ride a real recumbent trike then one of these, you'll see.
I have a blue one
Hi. I do a glass fiber shell around my Azub for less than 150€. It's funny and very simple. And light: under 1 kilogram.
Mobo Triton Pro.....
Oh you got the Mobo Pro? Oh I got the Mobo Pro.
How you like your Mobo Pro? I like it! oh you do?
Ya I got a Mobo Pro!

I purposely looked in the comments for this...
3.5 mph , would take me an hour to get to work , on My 29er it takes me 13 minutes LMAO

Up your’s, jack.
Wendy's 100% correct. Ride one of these and then ride a proper recumbent trike. It's a cheap ass kid's toy.
