You left out lots of information. You demonstrated the process but you did not show mixtures, what is in each container, only that amp rates determine color. Fine but how about being more specific??

@@jayrad017 I got an answer. A 3 amp Power Supply is good enough. See the video on my channel for the results. Not sure if less than 3 amps is cool or not, but I bought one with 3 amps and it works fine for balisong handles.

What did YOU do with that cup of whink? Did you take it to a HAZMAT waste facility? This video is bonkers, I mean you clearly have no business teaching others how to handle these hazardous chemicals. You think you pour baking soda on HF acid if it gets on your skin?! WOW! You could get someone killed if they listened to that, that trick might work with HCL acid but HF acid has to be neutralized AND you have to bind the fluorine ions that is why professionals use calcium gluconate for HF acid skin exposure, you can buy it at pharmacies. I'm just frustrated with every video done on the subject of titanium anodization, nobody discusses how nasty whink is. They just say it's nasty and leave it at that, no discussion about disposing of it responsibly because none of you have any business even working with it. Typical Americans, "they sell it at the store, it must be safe" It's banned in other countries. You aren't using the product as intended, and it contains HF acid, and you're teaching others to do the same. Yeah great video.

He does not say it’s safe, in fact, says a few times that it’s nasty stuff. Anyone doing this process needs to be aware of what they’re using. It isn’t the You tuber’s job to teach safety. Also, disposal differs from country to country. What’s required in one country, is different than the next. He isn’t doing anything wrong. Read labels when working with chemicals, CLEARLY.

It's been a while since my chemistry classes, but the reaction between HF and NaHCO3 with excess NaHCO3 results in H20, CO2, NaF, and some left over NaHCO3. I would probably understand the concern over the NaF a little more if that specific salt wasn't used to flouridate our drinking water. Unless I'm missing something, I can't see how neutralizing Hydrofluoric acid with baking soda and washing it down the drain would be relevantly different than washing my dishes or taking a piss.

Typical foreigner. Just a buzzkill. Why do you assume that someone who was interested in this process would not have multiple sources of information?
