In my opinion you can never go wrong with a qipao, all of them are beautiful. However, my favorite is the 2nd one you tried on. The blue one, I believe. You looked ravashing!

The navy blue and light blue were my favorite Qipaos. They are incredibly elegant and modest which accentuates the true beauty both in and out of Chinese women.

The petite speaker did introduce a variety of dresses fit for the youth group, the designer's dress fit for mature, classy, elegant women. While the stall speaker could introduce something to a daring group of females (age ranging from college or older.) Just some suggestions. I had owned some qipaos (not with a lot of bells and whistles though, neither TOO daring) and love them. In a few years, I'd order a couple of them for weddings of my children. Many years ago, I asked my sister-in-law to wear this kind of dress (besides her white gown of course, and it'd be my own funding.) She regretted it for turning down the offer after she saw what she could have. In the end, I still gave her a tailor-made one for her delayed honeymoon trip. No one I knew ever regretted having such beautiful dresses (in general, or qipaos specifically.)
