Interesting...Most people in the States seem to be Jag-Haters as a norm.
(Personally, I blame the way they pronounce the name: JAG-WARRRR)
Some say it is a Lincoln clone with many problems.....My overall impression is that Jags in the UK seem to be fine ....they just don't like living in the US!
Sadly, where I live, older & lesser versions of this model fetch silly money, unlike the UK where they are so ...so....cheap as a used vehicle.
Must be an insurance issue? As this chap says. 500 quid (must be over 40!) is NOT a whole lot of money for insurance...but it's not cheap either. I reckon it is the potential repair bills that make Brits shy away.... and the reputation is mostly unjustified as a potential money pit.

Last year I paid approx £420 with Adrian Flux but only because I previously had my Jaguar XJ6 Series 3 with them and had a years no claims bonus, but also because other companies wanted over £600! This year, because I always compare prices with comparison sites as I own 3 cars I, and because I now had 2 year's no claims bonus, I managed to get it insured for £258 with Churchill insurance. Just a normal policy not classic. I am 56 next birthday and live near Portsmouth. Suppose it depends on where you live and your accident /driving history.
