Hi Rupinder! Very meticulous and organized talk on reducing textile waste. I just want to add a point. People have become so conscious that they don't want to accept clothes from other. I remember my mother and her sisters exchanged clothes with each other which helped a lot in saving money and environment. For example, if a cloth doesn't fit me, or my body shape has changed over the time, I can not pass on those clothes to my sister because now a days people feel that it is to demean them. However, I personally believe that clothes may be exchanged in family and friends if they are just lying in the wardrobe. It is no shame to wear gifted and exchanged clothes.
Me n my hubby both were fashion followers ...suddenly he changed and started in living with minimal things ...& always says to me ... kapdo ko itna mahatav mat do ... in first impression ppl see ur clothes but that don’t last for long run ...for long run ppl likes ur nature ,ur simplicity and how much u help other ...thats mk ur personality .... seeing u can relate v easily... we don’t see what cloth ur wearing.... eagerly wait what u will going to say in this video 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I always vare my clothes... Makes sure to hand ash them mostly n air dry most of the times.. I use washing machine rarely.. Mujhe hamesha ye dukh hota dha ki meri kapde purane nhi hoti.. Naye kpde milne kel liye pahlewala purana hona chahiy tha. Otherwise parents will not agree to buy new clothes n that's y I only get new clothes on eid 2 times in an year n sometimes by gift from relatives.. That was a sad thing for me..im 24 n now I realize that my parents were right.. We were a part of reducing the pollution.. Bcz textile industry is the major cause for pollution n the fast fashion trends.. I will make sure to pass it on to my kids n next generation also.. Thnks for the video.. Now I'm so happy

You are such a good human being. I was always a minimalist earlier. Don't have clothes overflowing my wardrobe. But every time I had to repeat my dresses for occasions, I used to feel bad from inside. Although I never prefer buying new clothes for every occasion. But after watching your video, I repeat my clothes with confidence and style. I don't care if my pics gonna have me in the same outfits again. Rather I focus more on a little mix match or hairstyle to give a different appeal to the same outfit. You are such an inspiration Rupinder

I too follow the simple few pajami principle. I'm a working women and recently shifted to minimalism.
I do have other color pajamis and to use them , whenever I get a new kurti or suit made, ( usually from handloom material) I always try and buy colors which can match with the colors I already have.
Minimalism is very calming to the soul. Its relaxing , peaceful and declutters your closet and mind too.
