@@Doomeris im wondering on which supstat to focus: normal, elite or great one. since we will keep mods after a wipe it would make sense to actually keep all those for open world, silos and boss fights (including prime war/manibus) right? currently im thinking that elite dmg is the most important one, since they are spawing as ads and you usually have to wait through the boss phases anyway (unsure if that may change in later stages of the season) and normal ones will melt away. edit: the reason behind this: i am going to farm silos over and over again, not LEA. but who knows how strong the next bosses will be and missing out 25% boss dmg for 30% elite dmg may not be worth it
After some tests I noticed that the beret seems to be dealing the highest dmg over time, but with pure dps the gas tight has the best output in a limited time, idk if it's my build but that's what currently works for me
The way I see it is, gas tight really shines only with the explosive shrapnel mod he literally mentions in the video, due to the guaranteed buffed crit of ur 20th shrapnel, because that buff applies to that super buffed explosion. Beret is literally free and from the first silo, so until u get gas tight running obliterate is better. Edit: also if the fight requires u to move alot to avoid damage obviously higher damage in smaller windows outweighs beret when u cant just focus dump onto something
@@christopherparks6487 id say just avoid explosive altogether and run targeted strike anyhow. Give yourself a free 10% crt rate and 30% crt dmg, but i also run wildfire with 100% uptime on the hunter's mark so maybe im biased
i would say the gas tight also takes a slightly different mod loadout for better damage, mainly ive been wondering about the pure +15% weapon damage, im not testing it yet because right now ive only managed to drop elemental ones

if you use the 2h axe and heavy attack animation cancel it back to the crossbow and wait to shoot it untill fortress warfare hits, you will get the other 40% damage on the perk too on top of the fortress warfare buff of 20%.
Crit damage is multiplicative but only with weapon damage not with weakspot damage watch ThiccFila he shows how he tested it the same goes for weakspot being only multiplicative with weapon damage.
One thing people need to take into account is that damage to normal enemies inflates damage you do to dummies. Might wanna keep that in mind for future videos and testing

the firemask is quite possibly the helmet you want if you are swapping weakspot damage to get an additional +10% crit rate and +15% via the mask, added to the glove mods this gats base crit rates to a point where almost every single shot is a crit, any additional weapon damage is usefull at any point over subcreature damages, but also dont overlook the defensive bonus's im running a fast gunner build, and still get a fairly high damage output with absolutely no bonus's to shrapnel other than the one on the gun, this gun i use for running blackfell to save my lmg for bosses, which the 50/50 weapon mod works wonders with
I got all the mods and gear for this...now all I need is the gun, another Lonewolf piece and a Bastille piece...and I'll be melting bosses. Right now I'm using Icy Rain with frost blessing. A build that nobody talks about right now. Ultimately I'm a walking tank turret that never stops to reload and nothing melts me unless the single damage hit is over my hp limit or I ran out of bullets. Healing 20% hp each time the vortexes refresh which is each time I trigger it because the rule of only certain max vortex can exist, each new ones will end the previous prematurely and trigger the mod healing.
@@Digii4420 haven't got the chance to test it yet but it's pretty low since I've been having difficulties to quickly kill the elites in the Ravenous Hunter hard mode. I haven't been able to get Vortex Multiplier or Cryoblast yet. Only Frost Blessing mod available to me at the moment which allows me sustain and I could tank boss or deadly elites for my party. If you need dps try get cryoblast or frost multiplier. If you use icy rain, farm weapons for crit rate calibrations.
@@MrArthoz I did pretty much everything you just said and my dps is around 17k without deviant or crossbow. I mean it's not bad and pretty funny that you don't have to reload also it's good for small enemies or groups but compared to the other builds you can deal just so much more damage to the bosses.

It's been days but I've still yet to get any vortex multiplier or cryoblast to confirm how high it's damage potential. So best to get the highest balance of crit rate & crit damage. The main damage of vortex is the explosion. Though it's fun where in a lot of events where everyone scatters to dodge and hide, I just stood there trading bullets. I could stand against the barrage of the Ravenous Hunter non-stop without a scratch. But still, the charms of vortex using icy rain is it's crowd control and unlimited self heal...unless I could get that elusive mods. I'm really unlucky...I got more than 100 burn mod where a third is gold mod but less than 20 vortex mods...none are the ones I wanted.
You should swap out all normal damage mods to great ones so we know the true dps/damage of the build without inflation on dummies. I have the exact same setup and barely get past 20k dps unbuffed with copper bullets
copper bullets is your problem. Shouldn't be using anything lower than steel. But if you do have his exact build you shoul definitely be able to afford steel and even tungsten bullets easily.

somebody already tested Beret and Gas-tight., the conclusion is Gas-tight does more dmg and faster TTK than Beret however it depends on your build. If your build is centered around Shrapnel souvenir, Beret gives you almost infinite ammo than Gas-tight. So when dealing with bosses and elites you almost don't need to reload thus you deal more sustain damage and also you benefit more on Deadshot mod.
this build is absolutely gnarly. I do prefer the self heal and no reload variants tho. lose a little bit of damage for just overall more chill gameplay

I think you are a bit confused or else i still am, crit hits increase the chance that any bullet will shrapnel, the base is 4% for any bullet to shrapnel. crit hits increase the chance by 1%, meaning if you hit 6 crit hits in a second you are up to a 1/10 chance every bullet will shrapnel. +1 shrapnel(legendary helmet) means each time you trigger shrapnel instead of just 1 shrapnel it is 2, both damage rolls from 50% weapon damage. the fireman helmet says parts hit +1(same as the beret) but with an extra 120% damage boost meaning when you shrapnel the bullet hits the target more than once and there are mods where the more parts it its the more damage(7:44).
Yeah try investing everything you have into Shrapnel with SOCR, full Lonewolf set and realizing the build just isnt for you because you cant even hit 20k dps lol
I think Shrapnel Souvenir works better for this PvE build. I tested, and the DPS isn't too far behind, but total damage before reload is sometimes more than double.
its always personal preference. only thing for pve is mag capacity. get the gold one with +8bullets. otherwise for pvp id use the purple mag for more stable gun

What made you switch from the Legendary Bastile Shoes to the Purple ones? Or did you just go from those blue boots you had to the purple and just not the Legendary? I went and got the Legendary, should I choose the purple ones instead? Also, what foods are you using together?
Bastille boots are ideal (assuming you can maintain 70% hp for damage boost) but HD boots are an easy 4/5 star if you didn’t use frags. Lotsa hp and higher psi boost so yes just a quality placeholder or flexible slot (survivability and minor dps) with how his build was presented based on the equipment available to him
@Doomeris what kinds of Buffs are you using? Just Canned Meat? I feel like I'm missing something I know there is a lot of mixed information out there saying some stuff stacks but I don't know.
Dual Fury, status dmg, crit dmg, weakspot dmg, reload speed calibration, elemntal dmg calibration. Shoot bosses in weakspot without reloading (if you get good rng) and you will melt them quicker than shrapnel or frost vortex. it is heavily dependant on rng and needs careful setup but I always end up around 1.5 - 2million dmg on prime war bosses like that. ( bbq gloves as key armor )

is Wildfire pistol another good choice for marking enemies since it spreads the Bulls Eye mark to other enemies for easier clearing of POIs? Also, Canned Meat recipe has +20% Shrapnel DMG buff.

I thought the weapon damage bonus is multiplicative with crit and weakspot. Which is why once u stack alot of crit rate/damage on gear or sets, getting just regular weapon damage is better than getting a mediocre bonus to weakspot dmg...

Ive been saying this weapon is good for pve all the time but not for pvp, its only good for pvp in phase 1, after that theres many weapons that shines more than the scar
I’d be curious to see a fast gunner build using the mg4 lmg. Some people claim it’s better pure pve dps than shrapnel but I don’t think so. I think it’s high but not stronger, likely needs less set up and could put more damage just with the gun and no outside buffs
waaaaay better than anything else unbuffed, which is most of the time (bullseye is hardly worth the time it takes to fire and deviant is a rare occurrence during a fight). my MG4 does 68k DPS with no deviant and no bullseye, nothing comes close to that
then you couldnt use the crossbow and would have to use shrapnel carnage on the mask mod instead, i would still prefer to use obliterate with high map cap and reload now and then
How are you getting these numbers on the dummy? Which is the most critical mod that makes the dps jump so much? with most of the stuff I'm only doing like 17k dps on dummy.
For the blue mod for top part....running all the weapon crates in t3 is like 1h30m with a 4h waiting time to respawn...i did all of that and didn't got the same mod you have only crit boost....so is it better to just farm normal silo using controllers(which should just be deleted tbh if we have to farm "dungeons" and there's rng involved) or stay weeks to get a either dual green, one green one white or a blue white(rare)

how does it show 618 fire rate on your scar? you are using precision style so it should be -10% or exactly at base fire rate(515) in the first half of the mag with momentum up is your character like bugged or something? you have over 100 fire rate more than you should have that makes no sense

I playing bomber. Both sniper and jaws. Just love to pop 1 bullet 20k+ and see unstable go ham. ☺️ I am however only 3set wolf, shaman and 2 falcon and very unlucky with my silo runs for mods. 😂
I just got that obliterate violent but crit dmg didn't upgrade and it's stuck at 9% Shame. It took me 5-6 runs. Do I still use it over the purple one that has 12% or keep farming ? EDIT: 20+ runs later got the violent one and crit dmg +15%

Use the ones that benefit your skill/playstyle. Make the weapon manageable for you. Mag size and/or fire rate +accuracy with enuff stability to control gun, range for damage drop off (if applicable) based on your build and preferred combat distance

Been farming for Vulnerability Amplifier for a week now and not a single drop. I'm following the spreadsheet on where it drops too. I hope they haven't removed it?
I still can't decide between Fateful strike or momentum up for helmet. Both legendary and my fateful has a yellow sub stat (7.5% dmg to elite enemies) while the momentum doesn't.
Both doombringer and crossbow has the same 30% crit rate on marked enemies. The only caveat is crossbow is guaranted mark on weakspot while the doombringer has 60% chance when hitting anywhere. If you dont like to aim, go doombringer. Whats important is getting the 20% weakspot damage when hitting marked enemies from cradle buffs and the correct weapon mod.

I think Shrapnel Souvenir works better for this PvE build. I tested, and the DPS isn't too far behind, but total damage before reload is sometimes more than double.
What do you think of shrapnel souvenir for boss fights so no downtime from reloading? Is that better than obliterate for longer boss fights?
hey what attachments are you using for the gun?
its always personal preference. only thing for pve is mag capacity. get the gold one with +8bullets. otherwise for pvp id use the purple mag for more stable gun
Hey Doomeris, thanks for the fast replies on my previous questions. I have one more. What Calibration Blueprint are you using on your SOCR? Rapid Assault or Precision Assault? I just got a Gold Rapid Assault with Crit Damage +14.4% and Crit Rate +8.5%, wondering if that is the best option for me.

What made you switch from the Legendary Bastile Shoes to the Purple ones? Or did you just go from those blue boots you had to the purple and just not the Legendary? I went and got the Legendary, should I choose the purple ones instead?

Bastille boots are ideal (assuming you can maintain 70% hp for damage boost) but HD boots are an easy 4/5 star if you didn’t use frags. Lotsa hp and higher psi boost so yes just a quality placeholder or flexible slot (survivability and minor dps) with how his build was presented based on the equipment available to him

3. Doombringer build
Dual Fury, status dmg, crit dmg, weakspot dmg, reload speed calibration, elemntal dmg calibration. Shoot bosses in weakspot without reloading (if you get good rng) and you will melt them quicker than shrapnel or frost vortex. it is heavily dependant on rng and needs careful setup but I always end up around 1.5 - 2million dmg on prime war bosses like that. ( bbq gloves as key armor )
Stubborn me bought the gas tight helmet anyways and i regret it already.
Can fire like 75 bullets before reloading now, used to be 200ish.

is Wildfire pistol another good choice for marking enemies since it spreads the Bulls Eye mark to other enemies for easier clearing of POIs? Also, Canned Meat recipe has +20% Shrapnel DMG buff.

I thought the weapon damage bonus is multiplicative with crit and weakspot. Which is why once u stack alot of crit rate/damage on gear or sets, getting just regular weapon damage is better than getting a mediocre bonus to weakspot dmg...
Weapon damage is multiplicative to weakspot and crit dmg, weakspot is additive to crit dmg and vice versa
may I know what weapon accessories do you use for scar?
My unstable bomber build pumps just as much damage and is way more fun, shooting laser beams at the enemy is a cooler play style
i promise you that youre not hitting 100k dps sustained over time

Ive been saying this weapon is good for pve all the time but not for pvp, its only good for pvp in phase 1, after that theres many weapons that shines more than the scar
I’d be curious to see a fast gunner build using the mg4 lmg. Some people claim it’s better pure pve dps than shrapnel but I don’t think so. I think it’s high but not stronger, likely needs less set up and could put more damage just with the gun and no outside buffs
Shrapnel not good if u have many build to test many case. Like it alway lose to boomboom in primewar.
waaaaay better than anything else unbuffed, which is most of the time (bullseye is hardly worth the time it takes to fire and deviant is a rare occurrence during a fight).
my MG4 does 68k DPS with no deviant and no bullseye, nothing comes close to that

Use it with bingo or wild fire pistol to mark enemies. Works fine.
I have only one question, how does your weapon shoots that fast? because when I put that calibration mod, my fire rate goes really down
How are you getting these numbers on the dummy? Which is the most critical mod that makes the dps jump so much? with most of the stuff I'm only doing like 17k dps on dummy.

For the blue mod for top part....running all the weapon crates in t3 is like 1h30m with a 4h waiting time to respawn...i did all of that and didn't got the same mod you have only crit boost....so is it better to just farm normal silo using controllers(which should just be deleted tbh if we have to farm "dungeons" and there's rng involved) or stay weeks to get a either dual green, one green one white or a blue white(rare)

you can then put explosive shrapnel on your mask if you use cage.
Is KAM Pioneer a great alternative to this during early-mid progression while farming towards this build for pure PVE, also what accessories are you currently using?
yes its great. you can upgrade it to 4 stars and use it till endgame if you wanted to

how does it show 618 fire rate on your scar? you are using precision style so it should be -10% or exactly at base fire rate(515) in the first half of the mag with momentum up
is your character like bugged or something? you have over 100 fire rate more than you should have that makes no sense
might be due to momentum up

I playing bomber. Both sniper and jaws. Just love to pop 1 bullet 20k+ and see unstable go ham. ☺️ I am however only 3set wolf, shaman and 2 falcon and very unlucky with my silo runs for mods. 😂
I just got that obliterate violent but crit dmg didn't upgrade and it's stuck at 9%
Shame. It took me 5-6 runs. Do I still use it over the purple one that has 12% or keep farming ?
EDIT: 20+ runs later got the violent one and crit dmg +15%

Can you do some good purple builds? Not everyone has all end game stuff
i have many builds on the channel. you dont need to be in endgame to have gold gear..

Use the ones that benefit your skill/playstyle. Make the weapon manageable for you. Mag size and/or fire rate +accuracy with enuff stability to control gun, range for damage drop off (if applicable) based on your build and preferred combat distance

I still can't decide between Fateful strike or momentum up for helmet. Both legendary and my fateful has a yellow sub stat (7.5% dmg to elite enemies) while the momentum doesn't.
then simply farm a new mod with better substats, momentum up. you cant lose weakspot damage over crit.

Compared to a doombringer crit build. Which would be better?
Both doombringer and crossbow has the same 30% crit rate on marked enemies. The only caveat is crossbow is guaranted mark on weakspot while the doombringer has 60% chance when hitting anywhere. If you dont like to aim, go doombringer. Whats important is getting the 20% weakspot damage when hitting marked enemies from cradle buffs and the correct weapon mod.
