seeing this now makes me realize how Josh and Justin have improved so much. Both Josh and Justin are already good even back then but we can all be honest that the other 3 would always be noticed first interms of skills because those 3 would often have the highlight parts on their songs. But now Justin improved so much that in Bazinga and Mana he's getting a lot of lines along with Stell. He always had a good voice color but his technique back then was still lacking but now he's so much better. Josh on the other hand was often criticized for his singing but look at him now, he learned to control his voice and is also getting a lot of vocal lines. And I also love how Justin stepped up and is now involved in a lot of their music or lyric video ideas. If not the creative director then he'd at least be a consultant. It's like his knowledge in multimedia weren't for nothing, he graduated with honors yet he chose to be a performer but look at him now, doing both. Everyone is filling their roles in their group and it's just so nice to see.
Justin and Josh, I consider them as visuals of the group. When it comes to singing, they are the sub-vocalists, they don't stand out just like the other 3 but they complete the harmony. Not a lot of know how hard it is to harmonize. As a new fan watching their old videos, I can see how much they've improved. Justin has a beautiful tone and I agree, he lacks techniques. Josh has been criticized of having the weakest vocals, I see where its coming from, ballad is not his forte.. but idk if people realize how good his voice in rapping! I'm a Pablo bias but I like josh better as a rapper. In stage performances, his voice is very stable and charismatic. His stage presence is just natural!
One thing for sure, every one of the members is equally important because each went through the fire at the same time and survived as a group the testiest of storms. They lift up one another. They stand tall on the back of each other.
Grabe kayo. You are a very formidable team. Very Goal oriented at may substance (at tingin ko high character boys too). You have my respect. Keep the bond. Stay thirsty. One step at time, get to the top. You have to. That is where you belong. Then when you are up there and still find time to look back and stay grounded (and adorable as you all are now), you'd be legendary, for sure. I'd be one of your Ate's who will follow your progress and success and will smile at every win you'll have in the future.
