    Right before this epic showdown, Kuty was grinding in a workshop, and an Uber rolled up just in the nick of time to drop him off in there .

    speaking on that junior and baloo situation i find it interesting bcuz i’m one to believe that junior has a lot of foundation and if i’m remembering correctly if we look at his older battles i think he displayed that a lot more through his bounce and skates, he was even waving alot too back then. i think as he grew he started to become way more technical and i wonder what made him change his dance in that way.

    • @skiviper
      @skiviper ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I can see how a younger dancer would feel "pressured" to alter their styles like this to win now (either incorporate blowup moves or get very technical). Established guys like Batalla can get away with it I think. I've seen Miguel lose battles I feel he should have won cos he didnt do "crazy enough" stuff.

      @@skiviperyou’re right on the money, I think name is as important as ever but I feel that’s the case in sports and performing arts in general tho. Tony Hawk for example can do what he likes and it’ll still be hyped up more the Christian’s moves, Jude Bellingham in football, Antenkoumpo in basketball, Brad Pitt in acting etc

    Discussion: One Comment (other video) says Alex the Cage is LEVELS above Les Twins.
    I say thats wrong.
    There might be days! where this is the case (where one of the three has a bad day), and maybe Alex is mostly (little?) better than larry maybe (not my opinion, but maybe majority), but i never would say "LEVELS" (he used capital letters) above Larry and certainly not Laurent.
    hes roughly saying that people with this opinion watch too much Tik Toks of les Twins and that they dont understand the reality. (roughly)

      What egomaniacal behaviour are you talking about?

    • @noBODYnoTHOUGHT
      @noBODYnoTHOUGHT ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Sene_-wf2py Dancers and other so-called artists only care about their ego. They constantly want to compete and be the best. For them, life is all about being the center of attention and they are preoccupied with selfish dreams, while there is much more important things to worry about in the world. We have a life together and not each our own, with selfish goals to fulfill. There are people and animals who strive every day and personalities like these dancers have fun in the meantime and look at everything like a game instead of recognizing the essence of existence.

      It's mostly just stage presence. Dance is a performative art and they battling, so they act like they own the stage, it's really not that deep. I don't think they actually see themselves as messiahs, prophets or some shit like that(no sane person would think that). It's just part of the culture, show.
      Lemme give you an example. Rubix on the right is wearing Metal's gear.Do you think a megolomaniac, narcissist would support a youtuber like that?(no disrespect to Metal btw seems like both me an Rubix love Metal)
      Good thing they convince you though, seems like they really convince some people into it.

      Someone can sugarcoat it however they want and yet the way they act is corrupt. They win a certain amount of prize money and are sponsored by companies. Even organizing such events costs a lot of money. As far as culture goes, that's where the problem lies. We humans identify ourselves through cultures, our so-called talents, our profession, our religion etc. and create an image of ourselves. But in this identification there is no truth, no love for true being. We don't want to see what we have created in this society and have become comfortable because it brings advantages and that is exactly why no true revolution occurs. We escape into our own personal bubble because we are afraid of real life and the feeling of being nothing if we become nobody.
      Everyone can only find the truth within themselves by making themselves free from all trends, all doctrines and so on that society has created.

      @Nobody-tu5wt ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Dude, almost each and every one of us acts different in different habitus. Go read Erwin Goffman's dramaturgy theory for example if you wanna know how much of a ''chameleon us humans'' are .We are socially very adaptive and yes often deceitful creatures because we have way too much self awareness, aka metacognition(and social intellect). I'm yet too see a person that acts fully ignorant for social etiquettes.(other than mentally unstable and retarted people ofc)
      If you are just recognising it right now, or
      ''escaping out of matrix'' right now(lmao) ; sorry but the thing you are complaining now is LITERALLY everywhere since the dawn of man.
      Also preaching about it in a friggin dance video is like talking about political corruption on your little cousins birthday party, it's irrevelant and nobody (expect me it seems) don't give dime about it.
      There are many many people and groups that this issue your bringing is wayyyyyy to much important than dance circles.
      This behaviour your talking about is usually much more dangerous when it is more cunning and subtle, meanwhile in dance %70 percent of it is just performative and harmless.
