The reaction on the Vinecord was also pretty amazing. Really, this stream was not only peak Sunday, but also peak 2019-- possibly even the peak of the 2010's as a whole.

This mod is impressive. Not only does it have voice clips from Vinny, Mike, James, and Tommy that were cut perfectly to sound like they're having a conversation, it has pretty accurate models of each person/character. The mod also managed to make Luigi and Bungie disturbing.

IKR? Honestly, it's a shame to hear that this mod was only made specifically so Vinny could stream certain parts of it. With how good it was, I would've loved to have seen a full version of it, maybe even with Joel replacing Claire and him going on his own adventures.
Hell, if this ever came to pass, then with how much Vinny enjoyed it, maybe he'd be willing to provide some original lines for it. He said so himself early into the stream.

Joel fangames: Intentionaly crappy.
Vinny fangames: MEMES. MEMES EVERYWHERE.
Vinesauce team fangames: Community made worlds with borderline "forced" writing but amazing work on the assets and environment and even appropriating the material for the game worlds. Still mostly about vinny and joel...
If we are to account Terminal 7, that wasn't really memetic and it was quite on the serious side even in context it was funny if you were a vinesauce viewer. The DIY warioware stream was pretty bad, sponge romhacks were just mediocre and he thick romhacks were intentionally crappy. The halloween and christmas hl2 maps were alright, nothing special. Just decent experiences. Same goes for the mario 64 romhacks, one trick ponies for quick laughing fits and nothing more. Vinerooms were interesting as a nod to LSD streams vinny was doing and the same creator for this mod made them which was her first attempt to vinesauce fangames.
With joel you have a very competently made pokemon rpg romhack, and a intentionally crappy garbagefield fangame. The granddad fangames are a bit difficult to really rank them since even though Joel is the sole origin of the memetic material, it took a more popular and mainstream position where people not familiar with vinesauce and joel understood the reference.

I was expecting this to be like The Sphere Hunter mod for RE2make but seeing Rem Lezar chasing Vinny down a hallway is an order of magnitude better than anything I could ever imagine.
I have to admit these models are fantastic. The Mike Stoklasa one stands out to me along with Tommy.

In the way vinny was streaming this yes, it looked like that. But playing this from start to finish, i have my doubts how much would one take(or even vinny himself) until he couldn't stomach it anymore.
Not saying it's not the case, but I'm uncertain if this was played as a mod from start to finish it would be as linear and well paced to not notice overusing of things.
