Hey Joseph, great content and very clear the way you present things. Really enjoyed this series format - it is quite useful. Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work.
I loved your video tutorial. That kind of video really helps to every person who are studying Architecture and want to improve their rendering skills. Thank you so much from Peru for uplouding that video. So I'm gonna suscribirse your channel.
Joseph Kim-wow, quite a few, the purging of the SU model, your scene framings, the placement and corrections on the light sources, the 60 degree camera, etc. it was a pleasure watching your workflow-thanks for sharing. I use twinmotion and I hope to use some of your pointers!
Thanks from Thailand, this is my first visit your channel, very impressive and very informative, i love your workflow style, trying to improve my skill following your tutorial and critiques.
Best tutor! Very smooth tutorial I like it. Time well spent. I have a request. Can you make a night render of mid rise curtain wall building using enscape? It would be an awesome if you have one.
hello...thank you for your videos...i have two questions regarding enscape 1. how to light the chandelier used from enscape assets library... 2. how do you make water sprinkles like in lumion...small one...not like waterfall but small water sprinkles thank you
Sometimes the asset library lights are quite dim. Try night time it to show light, and if yo need more, just place sphere light right under. There really isn't a good way to make water fountain atm.
@@JosephKim I use my project as example. I use wood floor, and my interior walls are white. then i got my wall going yellowish. I'll try to adjust white balancing, but its not satisfy me.
Great video, my only question, the corners where ceilings meet the walls, seem to have a dark black line? Would've hoped for it to disappear in final render.
If I reinstall Enscape for whatever reason does the preset file also contain the information regarding all the materials or just the scene settings like FOV, exp and render quality etc?
Hi this is Prachi from India , I installed enscape after getting inspired by your videos , I have tried rendering in one of my project but not very satisfied with the out put , wanted to have a discussion over the same and your reviews on it. How can I connect ?
@joseph kim Hi, joseph, i am huge fan of our super cool tutorial series. Learned alot. I would be very happy if you could help and make a video about the geo location feature and solar north plugin. Does geo location give u the realtime location of sunpath even if we change the axis in the model with axis tool. If we can do it with geo location than why are people going with solar north plugin. And what if we create a geo location and move the model. Does it shows the changes in shadow w.r.t the change in geo location.
Good question. Geo location does give you accurate info. Solar north is there if you don't want to allocate Geo location. (there are many cases why you wouldnt want a specific coordination) just trying to give fency shadow for your woodworking project? If you change axis, it is separate from North axis. Unless you physically rotate the model. Because you can always reset axis to the original position.
Also, shadow doesnt really take impact if you physically move the model. You would have to move miles if you want it to show effect? I can't think of why you would do that.

Hello Joseph, I appreciate your videos, I am about to buy a desktop , what specs do you recommend within 2000 Canadian $ budget?, do you think I should wait for the next nvidia graphic card ?, if you don’t mind, do you like to share your computer specs ?, thank you
th-cam.com/video/Tya9rISnmQc/w-d-xo.html I don't know what 2000 Canadian is like, but you can get something comparible to my desktop at very reasonable price. I don't think there is any real benefit in getting the latest graphics card or holding out for the next.
Thanks for the tips. One question though: Why show the Sketchup outlines in the renders? I think that option is more appropriate when you go for a more artistic look, but since you aim for realism I believe it would be better with no outlines.
Hey buddy how are you? That's awesome video.. Give us some tricks about sketchup layout.. I personally think that layout is far more better than autocad.. But some minor things which generally left out while working.. Can you give us some tricks about layout for fast and beautiful digital drawings
I agree Layout is much better tool especially when working with SketchUp. However, I haven't had too many projects that's required CD to be worked in Layout. Are you needing to do residential work?
Layout is definitely a fully fledged capable tool to create all sort of professional documentation work. But the ONE problem with it that haven't been fixed for ages - performance. The software got really laggy really quickly, even moving a textbox is a struggle...
@@nameinvalid69 I agree with that statement in many aspects. I think there are few things that can be done to help, but it still isn't something that is going to change drastically.
Good stuff. I usually avoid overlapping figures, especially their heads. I try to correct for verticals too. These are my suggestions.
Very good tip! Thank you
Best 30 minutes I've spent on any Enscape tutorial so far.

Great Tutorial! Joseph. Is there a way that we could adjust the eye level at walkthrough mode? or the only we can do is to use fly mode? Thanks!
There is a setting in Enscape to change the eye level. I haven't tested this myself, but perhaps you can give a try?
very good
Thanks
I like your workflow... you are rock!! I want to ask how to manage color bleeding in enscape? I now use Enscape 2.6. Thankyou.

I believe you are referring to the outline or ambient occlusion. In real-life, light actually does that.
Thanks & just wunderbar - I didn't even know that enscape has such a "scene menu" which is seen at your right side of the screen...
I also learn a lot just looking over the shoulder of people who are experienced. Hopefully, this was some of that for you!

It's called 'purge all' made by TIG

The preset for the FOV and exp are file specific, and you can save them per file.
