A little tip for combat; once you attack wait until that tiny light gray sword to disappear before attacking again. If you don't your attacks are significantly weaker.
So tips so you have to have a stone pickax for iron and iron pickax can get pretty much every ore use the little trees that you get for breaking down trees and plant them for more trees if your hunger bar get to zero then you will lose health on pc don’t spam hit wait till the sword fills up

Use a blast furnace to cook stuff faster. Mobs will spawn in the dark so use torches or some source of light in darker rooms to prevent that.
