Used to live in Rocky in the early 2000s, the Chi'Mac place beside the theater used to be a graphics and printing shop I worked at. Nice bit of nostalgia and interesting to see how things have changed. If you want a really small town with some serious mountain views check out Grande Cache.
Rocky Mountain House looks great, I hope to visit it some day and camp around the area. You video shows allot and makes me want to go there to see it, thanks.
The taxes. The property taxes are insane in RMH. Please check that before you decide to buy there. Sylvan Lake is growing like crazy and one of the main reasons is that taxes are not completely ridiculous! I am not sure if this is on purpose to keep the place small or if it is ignorance of the town council. Either way, beware!
I hate it when people advertise the Ram for fishing. It is a very sensitive river and too many uneducated people have found the place. Although it is a catch and release river it is still affected by uneducated people. If you catch a fish and kill it by mishandling then you shouldn't be fishing there. Learn how to handle your freaking fish so there is a fishery there in the future.

RMH reminds me of my hometown, Chilliwack BC, 30 years ago when it wasn't crowded and full of practicing socialists (AKA homeless people)
