In the drafting missions you need to keep quiting and re entering untill you get the correct wind direction to get the gold speed otherwise you will never get it if you have a headwind and not a tailwind during the mission no matter how good you are drafting.
I'll say this.... When I saw the amount of credits that were given after a few race events I thought that was some what bullcrap. I mean, look at Gran Turismo 6, you could start all over again and have 5+ million credits within 1-3 days of grinding. Where as Gran Turismo 7, You need atleast three weeks of grinding just to get 2 million. I'm not saying the game is bad, I just think that since it's a racing game, we should be able to race and earn credits for our hard work. Because after finishing all the menu books, I only had 1,645,800 credits. I haven't finished the missions or the last license test, but the question is, that I think most of veteran GT players ask, is, how are we supposed to want our favorite and desired cars, If the hard work we put in, doesn't pay off? This is giving me PTSD trying to grind for that Ferrari F10 from GT5.

They messed up the smoke rain and dirt effects after the 1.06 update due to people complaining about visibility… imo these guys that complained have ruined the game for me as it adds to the immersion they need to put them effects back in🤷♂️🤦🏻♂️🤨
Best way to make money is the events at the bottom of the world circuit that are like 3-5 races in 1. Plus you get a bonus at the end if you are first in points
They made the already pisspoor payouts even worse. Once I’m done getting a couple of my favorite cars I’m done with this game. I’m not wasting my time grinding this bullshit

I don’t really like the drift events, especially the drag races. I have a Dodge Viper that has 911HP, perfect for drag racing and the moment that I start driving, it spun out
The corvette was interesting as it took me a few tries to get the throttle discipline down to avoid spinning out. It was one of the tougher cars I've driven so far but i only have around 30 so far in my garage. The challenges were fun and mine were similar to yours as as i had several first time attempts on each course lol.

The game's too short once you finished Licences Tests, Missions and Menu Books its impossible to grind for money to buy cars. They patch all the way to make money faster and there's really really a lack of races just think about the older ones. ( GR.1 Races, 70's races etc you know what I mean). I finished the game and you kinda stuck... racing 20 mins on a 800pp GR3 race 10 laps for 70.000€ ...

Anyone else stuck on the stupid WTC 600? You can only have a car with 600PP or less, all the damn cars blow past you like you’re sitting still, usually on the 3rd or 4th lap they nudge you with their nose and spin you out.
the game has been out for less than a month, some bugs and maintenance should be expected with all the people on the game at the same time this early in it’s life cycle. the game isnt p2w or none of that crap because you can do your dailies, get up to 500k from a roulette, enjoy good races and still make solid money and tune even the cheapest cars to put up a fight in their class. the only issue i see with the game is locking the single player to being online which is dumb yes but everything else at least has justification
