That’s my kryptonite, Scalp massage, neck massage or somebody just playing with my hair. 😴 Also hand and forearms massage. I wouldn’t even want a back crack just the shoulders and above would be fine with me. There is this handheld scalp massager the is made up of several thin long flexible wires with polished round balls at the end . You position it over your head holding onto the short handle then slowly push down and those thin wires just spread open moving down across your scalp. It seems like a simple tool but just that simple light scalp massage is so relaxing.
The relaxation following the scalp massage made me think of my cat getting scratches under her chin, squeezing her eyes in this relaxed mode sort of like your patient 😌
From what I've seen, it's a risk that people like massage therapists have to mitigate by properly positioning their fingers and switching between their thumbs, knuckles, and other fingers, as well ass tools.
Im a massage therapist and take between 25 to 30 hrs of deep tissue clients weekly. I use all the tools and still stay tight. Get weekly massages, adjustments, accupuncture and about to get reiki just to keep the body balanced. If I didnt love what I did, would never last. I strength train in the gym 3 to 4 days a week and live in the sauna 🥴. All the body mechanics in the world cant compensate for working excessively
