I think odd titles are more trustworthy to most people. Even numbers seem forced : I have to come up with exactly 10 items in my list so I will force my content to fit that number. Some good advice- thanks! I've tried Jarvis though. You need to be careful if you're writing about certain topics like people or locations as Jarvis may be wrong about some information.

I would plan to do that every 3-6 months. It's going to be based on data and the posts which you think could rank in the future. Maybe they're on page 2 creeping up to page 1.

Hey Adam, one other question I had - I'm trying to figure out average monthly visits I'll need to generate X of income... If I use variables for average commission, average affiliate product price, and average conversation, it seems like I need really high monthly visitors before I generate even moderate income. I forget the exact inputs I used in my file, but are there other levers I should be thinking about?

Hey Christopher, good questions. I'm actually going to be creating a video on affiliate marketing in-depth and the number's game that it is.
You are correct, affiliate is like a math formula: affiliate link clicks * product conversion rate * commission rate = your commissions. If you write a list post for affiliate revenue, you can safely assume that at least 30% of visitors will click the affiliate link of your #1 option.
So for this equation to work, you need decent search volume, a high priced product, or recurring commissions.
In many software categories that I write in, affiliate commissions are recurring so I make commissions every month as long as the customer doesn't churn (usually 20-30% recurring). Those add up relatively quickly and compound over the course of months and years.
When I first started out, I was getting a few thousand visitors to one blog post of mine and actually sold a spot in the article for a flat fee of around $5,000 per month.
Whereas you can expect a $20-40 RPM (revenue per 1,000 impressions) from ad networks, if done correctly, you can make 10-50x that with affiliate marketing - it really depends on the niche and if the commissions are one-time or recurring. I hope that helps.

I'm doing a passion project in the dad/parenting space so my gut tells me that could be an uphill battle, but I'm sure there's stuff out there that I just don't know about yet and/or do some pivot content that's derivative but related. You can make it easy by adhering to strict numbers. For example, get an 80 in SurferSEO, get a 95 in Grammarly, structure it with consistent H2/H3 headings, etc.
