I like the song, but the chorus or whatever doesn't fit with the rest of the lyrics... Zico talks about not wanting to sleep because it's a waste of time, essentially; he can't sleep because there's so much going on in his mind, things to do, etc. The chorus is about not wanting to wake up because of some sort of dream girl, it seems, and how the dream is like an escape from reality. Maybe the song is meant to be paradoxical, but it still seems weird to me. That said, I'm liking it, and the soothing, calm vocals is nice amongst the fast, hard rapping. I also can really relate to some of the lyrics; I've always had a hard time shutting off my mind to sleep, which is why I started taking sleep meds at a rather young age in order to get to and make it through school (I also have diagnosed ADHD, so that certainly didn't help, either). I've always felt, and still do, that sleeping is a waste of time, as there are other things I could be doing (like reading) instead.
Doesn't the chorus is about lyrics or music that comes in his mind when he sleep then vanished when he wakes up ? He cannot recall it or somewhat ... or that the girl help him getting away with the trouble To sleep and the stress he gets from thinking that someone is making money while he is sleeping ? That's hard on you hope it gets better
A friend of mine interpreted the song like this. They are talking about how waking hours are so busy and stressful because you work so hard that when you can finally rest you never want to wake up again to reality because it's so stressful. Basically how working so hard can eventually drive someone to being suicidal. That's why everyone gets shot at the end of the MV.
