A 1v1 tournament for movement players at that building is a good idea. Maybe 8 people in a draw or something and knockout, free video for you guys if you can set it up 😜
You should not be able to change directions by 180° in mid air after you've already pressed your jump button. It's just not natural. Then again, I play on console so idk what mnk even feels like for this game.
Movement Gods getting mad about the strafing nerf so they can’t casually do this to pubs is insane, do that in ranked not in mixtape or normal trios, very sad

@@noxiabathys there are few movement freaks in pubs, the chance encountering them is less than 1 %. They are people too who actually put some effort to learn how to use movement. That takes a lot of practice and training in kovaks, r5 and pratcice maps.
I've always liked tap strafing as a movement ~concept~ but people defend it like it's the end all be all when it's really not that intuitive to most of the player base. The proper response from respawn should have been to double down and create universal movement mechanics off of seeing it blossom. The momentum of being known as a "movement shooter" was never capitalized on in an official capacity. Democratizing (or allowing access) to in-engine tech like this would have saved them the headache of having to roll back defenses against what is obviously a headache for everyone involved
tap strafing doesnt seem intentional by the devs, it took like 3 years of the game being out to find out about tap strafing so they cant just make it universal to everyone unless they make a whole new game
my problem with the moment in apex is that the game doesn't teach players new or old this or how to improve. In overwatch befor hero masters, the community made workshops to learn hero tech, like doom or mercy parkour. Outside of shooting range in apex you have to play ReReloaded to for more advanced tech.
thats why tutorials are a thing??? you're just complaining lmao all of these movement players spent time learning and perfecting it. so if u wanna do this movement how about practicing
I can't be the only one that feels like "movement" players are ruining the game more than anything else. Hanging around in pubs trying to find the perfect bot lobby to dance around in. Making new players fresh out of their introductory matches decide that Apex isn't for them. Too afraid to play ranked because they know they'd peak at diamond (sure some genuinely good ones will peak higher). And that the facade of them being actually decent at the game will crumble as soon as they have to think about anything other than lurch.
Regarding the timmy clip I thought movementless was a configer. Unlike lemonhead and faide I thought he's not natural. The movement certainly looks different to the aforementioned. Those two are considerably more predictable in spite of being unhittable to the average player. Similarly extassy just isn't that impressive imo. Configs are just not particularly compelling.
@@omegaPhix That doesn't mean he doesn't config. Extassy also has a roller cam, he configs out the ass. I may be wrong, as above it is my understanding it's not necessarily correct, however, the existence of a handcam does not mean that he doesn't config in the slightest. Edit: having looked into it further it he at least claims that he does not config, that said he hit's an awful lot of superglides without touching control so I'm not fully convinced. @qwertyg3666 Extasyy has a controller cam so you were able to see WITH YOUR EYES that his button inputs didn't match with his gameplay(shocking, I know) Now do the same thing with movementless, even at 0.25 speed and you'll see that the button inputs match perfectly to the gameplay🤯 And nobody superglides with ctrl but a button above the spacebar like c, v or b. Movement in Apex imo is quite a bit overrated. My experience: if you anticipate (see e.g. Octane bunny hopping towards you) and keep calm 1v1s are winnable IF your aim matches or exceeds movement god's aim. In most cases it does not.
