- I knew that living in a Jeep would attract a life of adventure, but I couldn't of foreseen how much more exciting my life was going to get because of a 4x4 rig that can take me almost anywhere! @AngelsExcursions was kind enough t let me tag along on part of the drive South and I honestly don't think I could have done it without her!

ABOUT ME
Hi I'm Loui! I am an adventurer at heart who loves to share every step of the way. My travels so far ,via camper van, jeep camper, and foot, have taken me all over North America. I started this channel in 2019 in hopes of inspiring other people like me who didn't exactly grow up living an adventurous lifestyle and who might be afraid to get started on their own adventures. Since then, it has turned into my full time job and something that I very passionate about. So, stick around to see the journey unfold!

I'm here because Steve Wallis sent me 👍🏻
Found you from Steve Wallis channel. Glad to have another cool channel to follow
I've turned back twice. Once on Medano Pass and once on the Alpine Loop near Ouray Colorado. I plan to try Medano Pass again now that I have better tires & a portable air compressor. No Shame in staying safe & alive.
Here from Steve Wallace's channel, hi loui. 👐
Glad you’re loving Canada. ❤ You’re such an awesome person. 😀
It's okay to turn around when you're alone on a challenging trail. If there's another vehicle, at least it can help pull you out of situations. Stagg chili is delicious btw!
You best be snuggling up to Simon!
Steve Wallis sent me. Happy to be here!!
If you put some Amber fog lights on your Jeep it helps with seeing in the fog
Yep pro tip for any car!
I need some ASAP if I’m ever gunna do a drive like that again 😂
@@AdventureTimeLouiyou need to reset and go be an apprentice mechanic, and they will probably pay you basically nothing......but that's okay because you won't be very useful for a while.....but thats normal..... But you have your whole life ahead of you and its dangerous that you can't fix your vehicle.
Way before fog lights, you needs tools and knowledge.
Seriously, most overlanders can fix things. Or at a minimum, you need a torch and tools to be able to disconnect a drive line.

Just subbed from Camping with Steve Wallis
Saw you on Steve's channel, great video, subbed!
Hello via Camping With Steve! Looking forward to watching your adventures.
Hello, new sub and the Mad Trapper(Steve) sent me.
Having built my van for two years (a large Nissan Cargo) with all the things one could imagine, sound deadening, solar, heater, etc., etc., my wife has been ill. So, I have a beautiful parked almost new van but have to watch all you maniacs go rompin' around. It is wonderful and brings me happiness. I have also watched Simon since he began. Thanx for the laughs and joy you bring us all!
Well aright! It's Adventure time william and Loui
Just found you and William through Steve's new video. Looking forward to seeing your journey. Be Safe!!!
Steve Wallis sent me… Anyone who is cool with Steve is worth subscribing to! Looking forward to watching your videos young lady!
Found Loui while watching Steve Wallis... Looking forward to seeing more of your content
Saw you on Steve's channel.
It's so great to watch you build your confidence while listening to your gut. Keep going, girl! 🌲
Failures add to the adventure! Never be scared of turning around if you have to.
Fog is a regular feature in winter where I live, but rarely that thick. I’ve only driven in visibility like that once in the 1990s at night on a mountain and it was frightening!
Finally, William is the best dog ever!
Liard River fog and bison dont mix
When In doubt safety wins out
Over here from Camping With Steve after your impromptu colab. 👍
I found her through Steve and I'm glad! She's so beautiful ❤️
Came over from Steves video and subscribed to binge watch your videos :)
Just came from Steve's video. Very glad to find you. All the the best on your journey. Looking forward to seeing what happens next. Michael in Toronto.
Always listen to your gut instincts, Loui always it knows if something is not a good plan
Thanks for the new video! We are really enjoying following your adventures, Loui.
Thank you for coming along 🥰
I like all your updates and adventures. Lots of good editing and great footage. Stay safe out there!
Thanks my friend! 💗
@@AdventureTimeLoui More vids with your brother, he's cool as hell!
I found you from Simon’s video a few weeks back. So glad I did 😊 you look like you’re having so much fun out there!
Great adventure Loui, love your videos!
Epic adventure! I would have been skeptical of that trail too. The ice definitely would've freaked me out 😂. William is so happy in the snow and the faces he makes crack me up!!
Hello, glad to see you back. Great video enjoyed it.👍NC
I just saw you on Steve Wallis channel. Nice to meet you
Steve showed up on my feed 2yrs ago, that led me to foresty, and I just watched the 3 of you at that cool $3.99 campground. So I subscribed. Great vids.
You are. More competent than you think. Most people would ignore the sound. Great dog….
After driving an hour to a rails to trails cycling trail, a friend and I were ready to head out. But for some reason I didn’t want to go. We turned around and went home. Odd. Felt great about trusting my instincts. You did the right thing turning around when you’re not comfortable. 💗
Thanks!
Thanks for the support!
Epic adventure!)
100% okay to turn around. Even if the plan doesn't work out I find I'm still left with a good Jeeping story, and that's a win in itself!
You and your attitude just make me happy!! Keep searching!
So. Prop shaft U joints.
When you lifted your rig (and that's another discussion), did you upgrade your prop/drive shafts with extended shafts with longer slip joints and wide angle joints? Possibly double cardan joints?
If not, 'corrosion' aside, you are going to completely screw your prop shafts over and over again. And that thing that you referred to about what can happen if one breaks... That can also happen if you over extend a standard shaft on a lifted rig and the standard slip joint pops out.
Steve sent me here! :)
Love you colab with Steve
Geocaching! I did it for a little bit years ago and I’m always reminded of them when Foresty Forest summits a mountain 😂
I'm a part-time van lifer, the calm stuff can be boring for me, the adventures are good. I was in Radium Hot Springs earlier this summer, it's a great spot! Enjoy.
Great video! Thanks for sharing your life on the road with us! ✌🏽❤️🥾
Saw you in Steve's video. Subscribed here now. :> Great video.
I'm from the east koots but live in northern AB. I take July off every year and cruise around east/west koots. Me, dog, tent : )
..oh and I post some of those videos on my terrible channel.
Thanks!!! and this is by far one of my favorite areas in the world now! lucky to live so close to it 😍
Seeing you listen to your gut instincts was neither disappointing or sad; it was encouragingly inspirational 💚💚💚
Hi! New subscriber here! just saw you on. Steve Wallis channel and had to follow you!
Really coming to enjoy your adventures - even (especially) when they don't come out as planned. I'm watching again. :)
Thanks for the encouragement! It’s always 😅 putting out something you didn’t complete
@@AdventureTimeLoui - changes my perspective on my own "failures" - if I can be kind and appreciate the things that didn't go as planned for you, maybe I can look at my own misadventures the same way.
You are so brave Loui!! Driving those mountains can be intimidating but you handled it gracefully. ❤
Hello from Zürich-Switzerland 😊
I found you recently in Steve’s Wallis videos. He interviewed you at the end and your pups face as it was all comfy laying covered up was great.
Hey,Steve sent me
Saw you on Steve Wallis's channel
Yeah, that whitehorse rec centre is great!
Hi Loui, i love your rationale when deciding whether to do something or not. Its so funny to hear your response to a challenge that may be difficult. Remember, its only a learning curve that will get easier with experience. Good that you got the Jeep sorted when you did. See your learning already.
You and Simon look so good together. :)
Lord please never stop making videos I literally live my life vicariously through your lenses. ❤❤❤
Steve brought me here.
Camping with Steve said you were a good person. that made the cut for me to subscribe.
"Met" you on our good buddy Steve's channel today. Stoked to check out your adventure! Safest of travels to ya, and stay well! 🤟 🏕
Also, your pup is stunning. But I'm positive you know that, 😉. Cheers.

HA! Geocaching is how I travel! It is what leads me on the most epic of adventures!!
Thanks for the adventure.
Saw you today in the parking lot and waved. Hi again!
For some reason TH-cam has not been notifying me of your new videos. I will keep a lookout lookout for them 👍🏻
You are doing great.
Thanks!
There is no snow here in Kelowna BC. Not yet. But some snow up in the hills already. Maybe a few more weeks until snow here.
Glad you had fun in the Hot Springs. Stay smart thank you.
Brilliant video Loui! Really enjoyed everything about it :) If possible in the future, could you do a video revving up your car? So we can hear how it sounds!
Love your videos of you and beautiful William 😊❤️❤️
Subscribed! discovered you from Steve Wallis. Great videos. Can't wait to watch them all.
Great adventure ❤
U are getting to be adventurous Loui lol I am here for it very entertaining safe travels.
Hi! New subscriber, saw you on Steve Wallis’ channel. I love your cute doggo!
Nice, rich content video. PB sandwich is a delicacy, if prepared correctly. Try a PB and banana sandwich. Glad you are carefully listening to your Jeep. Good judgement on the RR turn around. Thanks for sharing this chapter in your adventure.
Glad there’s other smart people out there who like a PB and banana sandwich! The best!
Just seen you on Steve channel, with Simon. I'm looking forward to watching ur content. Also, congrats on camping in a wrangler, epic challenge. Anyway, thanks
Good morning beautiful day 💪🏾🫴🏾❤🙏🏾👋🏾🌄
Thanks for sharing! Safe travels!
Fun vlog. Thanks for the adventure.
I've been geocaching since 2006. If I were traveling like you I would be doing it on a regular basis as a fun activity.
Great adventure video, thank you for sharing!!!
Just saw you and Foresty, on Steve Wallis channel and subbed. Your channel looks quite fun..
Another great video Loui!! Found your channel through Foresty and been binge watching your channel. Have you got that lump on Williams right shoulder checked out at a vet? It would be sad if you lost your travel mate. Hoping the best for you and your doggo!! Safe travels!!
Not surprised your drive shaft went bad because of the rough terrain you're driving. If you ever add a mountain bike to your adventure setup, maybe a lightweight emtb with plenty of ground clearance and good range, you could explore tough roads/trails on the bike and give the Wrangler a break. The dog can run along because you're not going more than 6-8 mph. Foresty's ebike is too heavy imo and doesn't have 12-speed for the steep stuff and in general doesn't have enough ground clearance for the backcountry.
I used to be a trucker in BC. The worst part about driving in a white out blizzard (or fog) is how stupid most of the other truck drivers really are - they drive WAY beyond their visibility and they literally can't stop if there's something in front of them they just crash into it. They wreck so many trucks in BC every winter. Never ever feel obligated to drive faster than you feel safe, if you're scared, slow down, but use hazard lights under 70. Your instincts are right and those truckers are dumb.
Try crumbling some chips on that dish you made at the end to kick it up a notch.
Nice video, you’re gaining so much experience and knowledge. Many Blessings
Glad to see you back on your great adventures. Any warm Caribbean adventures in the near future? Stay warm out there 😊
Good evening Loui, Angie, Jackie & double ear rubs William ! Thank for taking us along through this beautiful adventure ! The water looked so relaxing & rejuvenating ! All of different wildlife was such an amazing site ! I’m proud you got as far as you did on the trail ! I’m happy you encountered your problem in an area where there was someone to help you out ! You were safe & not stranded on the road somewhere alone ! There’s nothing wrong with putting your journey in reverse ! Even though your eyes are eager to see what’s further ahead, always listen to your heart ! When it’s telling you there’s uncertainty ahead ! In reality reverse is just a bend for Nature ti show you the other side of the journey that you didn’t get to see the first time ! You Ladies stay warm, safe travels & keep smiling !
If you're going off into the woods, invest in some high visibility clothing for you and the dog... safety vests... good when u have a roadside breakdown. Take care. 😊
Thanks Loui, you inspire me!
Could be mid or a small stone between the brake rotor and the backing plate. I've had that happen lots
