    I hoped vusi wrote a book about or with his mom about her leaderships. I enjoyed the part he talked how his mother stood up herself and her children. There are so many women related to her story, some shone like her and some didn't.

    Vusi, we badly need you in Uganda. We have one of the highest numbers of business start-ups per year, but also have one of the highest rates of business closing up; mainly because of the lack of this kind of guidance. Please extend your MyGrowthFund mentorship to Uganda as well.
    Your talk to the Stanbic Bank customers was great, but we request that you set up here permanently to help us (Entrepreneurs).

    God granted her the strength and courage. 15 She went away and did as Elijah had told her. So there was food every day for Elijah and for the woman and her family. 16 For the jar of flour was not used up and the jug of oil did not run dry, in keeping with the word of the Lord spoken by Elijah.

    why does South Africa devalue its currency (Rand) ?
    even if you compare Rand to central European currencies (like Polish Zloty & Czech Koruna) - you'll notice that over the past 13 years Rand is being devalued

    • @chrisv.noire.6388
      @chrisv.noire.6388 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      makes exports competitive. Thats the main reason for a nation to devalue its currency. Gives it a better chance to have a trade surplus with its trading partners. China does the same thing for the same reasons.

    • @ireneuszpyc6684
      @ireneuszpyc6684 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      China is a bad example: Chinese GDP/capita is $8069, while Moldova's (east Europe) GDP/capita is $1848, so on paper Moldovan (east European) labour is much cheaper, but due to some complex politics big manufacturers (like Apple) produce in China and not in Moldova;
      do you mean that South Africans are happy when Rand depreciates by 10% or 20% a year?

    • @chrisv.noire.6388
      @chrisv.noire.6388 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      When i said China, i was just letting you know they have a practice of devaluing their currencies(something the US prefers to call currency manipulation) for the sake of making the exports too competitive and as a result they have the $400 billion+ Trading surplus against the US. Regular South Africans are not happy with a low Rand but if you were an exporter in SA you would be thrilled as your goods would be competitive in international markets.

    • @ireneuszpyc6684
      @ireneuszpyc6684 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      devaluing the currency is a confiscation of wealth from ordinary citizens (and transfering that wealth to a handful of exporters & governments);
      Chinese government is able to do it because China is a totalitarian state, full of sweat-shops, and probably offering 'sweet deals' to foreign manufacturers: very little tax & very few workers' rights

    • @chrisv.noire.6388
      @chrisv.noire.6388 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      My gosh man...it was just an example. Right now the US is raising rates because the dollar is too strong making US manufactured goods uncompetitive on global markets. Many amenities you enjoy as a nation come by way of taxes generated from exports. You want to be a nation that exports because as wonderful as your domestic market is, SA would not be what it is without trading both in the region and in the international markets. Its what keeps your domestic industry going, which then employs your people who also pay their taxes and do their part in funding the Govt. You need external trade bud and you want to be a nation with a trade surplus not the other way round.
