Wow!! Even in video it looks intense! I came to watch after hearing about the group of 20 that got stuck in this canyon a couple days ago. They definitely didn’t know what they were getting into!! Glad they all were rescued. You guys rock!

Awesome! Good Job. I was anticipating a continuous facepalm viewing, as most canyoneering vids are cringy. BUT THIS NAILED IT! A. you brought along some serious talent in Josh and Christian. B. good emphasis on the length and endurance required. C. excellent partner climbing sequence on the crux. My only tiny beef is that you showed a lot of people in chimney position (back to feet), which is the natural rest position. Not so much motion in the Gallumphing face-forward position which is so much more efficient. Many climbers epic in Sandthrax because they don't gallumph - which takes twice as long, and uses twice as much energy.

Props on a good video. I did SANDTHRAX in 2012 and I always hesitate to give out detailed beta for this canyon, I don’t want to encourage anyone lol.
