    Geidre, Great to see you back again! I really appreciate your demonstrations on how to dress when you're changing sizes! In your csse after a baby. I, however, have been on & off diets for more than 50 yrs! Yep! The greater part of my life! I appreciate that you don't criticize, but just generously offer your expertise! You've given me more usable tips than most influencers. I guess because they all seem to be size 2 or 0, and always have been! I often find myself with unrealistic expectations and disappointments. So... thank you, thank you, thank you❗You're the best, ❗👍Shirley from Texas 😃

    New subscriber here! Great content. I’d appreciate it if you showed us the side by side examples for longer. I had to keep pausing the video and going back trying to see them properly. Let them stay on screen for longer than a few seconds. Thanks 😊

    Labas Giedre. I especially appreciate you not only 'telling', but most importantly by 'showing' how to fit clothes on our bodies. Great examples and suggestions.

      Labas! Thank you, so great to hear it! I believe by seeing the things we might faster shift our approach rather than when we are listening to something. It is more obvious. I am glad you like this format!

    Can you do a list of your favorite retailers for the clothes you buy and showcase. Even the specific store you like?

    I like how you show tips for wearing a maxi skirt which is hard to find on youtube because most women only wear pants. Thank you so much!!

    What retailers do you suggest for “tailored and timeless” pieces? (preferably on a budget) 😀

    More seams in your skirt is a tailoring trick to elongate and thin the body….learned that in a 1948 magazine of my grandmothers. She was a tailor.

    • @giedre

      This is a good one! More seams mean more vertical lines (not in direct meaning) and those are great in dividing and tricking the eye, thanks for sharing! :)

    I learned the hard way too tight is bad and a sack is too big...structured clothes really is complementary.

      In my opinion no "rules" work for every body type... you need to adapt them to yours :)

      Those are general guidelines, they do work for everybody, in her video she used different models and it works fine :)

    • @giedre
      @giedre  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Tilia, those are more or less universal guidelines that most likely should work for different body types but as there is no same flower on this planet, it is always useful to adjust those guidelines in accordance with your proportions and personal style preference ❤

    @3:24 examples of these fabrics please?

    • @giedre
      @giedre  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hello Leila, it really depends on the manufacturing way, and sometimes the same 100% viscose might look and feel totally different from differently manufactured 100% viscose and it also depends on the thickness. But definitely as mentioned in a video those fabrics are a bit on a thicker side but have the ability to flow as well. Please have a look at the navy and greige I am showing in a video. Those are good examples of what I mean by that fabric description. Hope it helps ❤
